Now Useless
I have a couple of these trimmers, unfortunately all of them do not have the part that holds the blade in place. Now I can't use them because there isn't a replacement part for them. With these being really pricey, you would think that this part could be readily available. Pretty disappointing. However, when I could use them, I feel that they did a great cut and the scoring blade works great. Lining up the paper isn't as good as other trimmers I've used and it can be a little confusing on where the cut is going to be. especially at 2am while working on a last minute project. =P

Great piece of kit!
Love this. The precision cut has opened a whole new range of possibilities for using my Joy machine. I’m no longer restricted to pre-cut cards. I can cut my own material with accuracy. The blade is supper sharp and I love the pull out arm to measure larger materials with confidence.

Poor Quality Expected Better From Cricket
I purchased this trimmer yesterday, November 3, 2024. I plan to return it as it does not cut a straight line and the brand new blade does not cut smooth but leaves a rough edge. I cannot recommend this product.

Cuts beautifully but I now have no ruler
This is actually a joy to cut with, the cut is clean and precise and I find cutting vinyl with it aesthetically pleasing. Ok
My issue is the extendable ruler. Mine was extremely stiff and I was concerned I was going to break it so I scoured the internet, not finding much, unsurprisingly as this should be a simple operation.
The threads I did find all reassured the poster it wouldn't break and told them just to pull it out. So I built up the courage, slowly pulled it out and it broke!
I am not going to buy a new one as it still cuts beautifully but every time I look at it now I just feel disappointment.

Offer the blade holder as a stand-alone item
I love my portable trimmer and have replaced the blades several times. My question to the Cricut decision makers is: why isn't the blade holder available for purchase as a stand-alone item? Shouldn't we all be doing something to keep plastic out of the landfill? Cricut, do something for our environment and offer the blade holder as a single item so we don't have to toss a perfectly good trimmer into the landfill.

I will say upfront, I won one of these. I have been using it for about 3 years and absolutely love it. It cuts with the precision I want & has gone through everything I've thrown it's way. It has become my favorite trimmer. Easy to store or drop it in my crop bag. I've accumulated quiet a collection of trimmers over the years, I used to teach ladies in my home & in a shop, beginners scrapbooking, I would ask them not to purchase a trimmer. I wanted them to try all the different ones available at that time.to make an informed
decision. It's made of a plastic material, like almost every one on the market, I just don't know what Cricut did to make it better, it just is. I love it & I recommend this trimmer.

No replacement part!
I was very disappointed after ordering replacement blades to find out that the blade holder was not incBluded. After doing some research I found out it’s not available for purchase and the only way to acquire a new blade holder is to purchase a whole new trimmer. So now I have a trimmer with new blades that is useless.

clear arm on the cutter falls off everytime you li
I loved my old Cricut trimmer, and this replacement one is very good, except on thing, the arms when you lift the clear plastic peace up to put the paper under to cut, come off everytime
I lift it. Very frustrating.
