Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Go to for damage free walls [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love to change up my decor but hate putting holes in the wall. The 3M Command Sawtooth Picture Hanger is a total lifesaver. It is simple to use, you just peel, stick, and hang. I used it to hang a framed print and it is holding strong. The best part is that like all the command strips, it is damage free. It comes off cleanly, leaving no sticky residue or paint chips behind. It holds up to 4 lbs, which is perfect for most small to medium-sized frames. If you need to hang something without the hassle and commitment of a nail, this is definitely the product for you. Highly recommended.

It was renovated in summer time and I didn't want to put nail holes in the walls so I used 3m command sawtooth picture hangers...The pictures have been on the walls since January and have had 3 pictures fall off so far, smashed, broken glass everywhere and the worst thing is I can live with the smashed pictures but when it ripped paint off the wall and now I have to patch and paint because now not only can I not hang pictures on my walls but I will lose my damage deposit when I move out at some point....NOT HAPPY!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hangs Frames Quickly and Easily [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this Sawtooth Picture Hanger to hang several photo frames in my living room, and it was very easy to use. The hanger sticks securely to the wall and holds the frames firmly without leaving marks when removed. It's important to let the strip adhere to the wall for a few hours before adding a frame for hanging. I like that this hanger allowed me to hang my pictures level and straight without needing nails or tools. It works well on painted walls and makes changing or rearranging frames simple. Overall, it’s a convenient and damage-free way to display photos.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Plastic or Metal? (not paper or plastic) [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as a sample to review it for 3M. I am a long time Command product user. I started using the plasic hangers in my classroom a few years back. They served their purpose but when students walked by and brushed against it, it would shift the frame. They just don't sit nicely on the white plastic peg. I have slowly transitioned most to a different Command product. The metal picture hangers work beautifully. The peg fits icely on sawtooth hangers which come pretty standard on most frames. The metal ones cost more but if you are hanging them near an area people frequently walk by, it's worth the extra cost.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Command Sawtooth Picture Hanger free from 3M Company to review. I used it on an approximate 12 inch by 8 inch picture on a canvass that stretched around the 4 sides, so it was light weight. It had one of the sawtooth clasps on the back of the frame. I normally put a nail in the wall and am done with it, but hate making the hole. So this sounded perfect. It worked great with the exception that I wished where the post was on the hangar, that it was a tad bit deeper to properly fit my frame better. But other than that, it worked great, and I feel better since I don't have to put another hole in the wall.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It took 2 tries to make it work This picture hook came with 2 adhesive strips. After cleaning the wall as directed and waiting for the wall to dry, the 1st strip didn't adhere and I had to use the 2nd strip. I was hesitant to use it after that because I worried that my picture was going to fall, but I hung it anyway and so far, it has stayed on the wall. I would be afraid to use these for anything but the lightest of frames, and I'm only using them for hanging seasonal items-- in this case, an easter print. For my permanent artwork, it's worth it to me to use conventional nails and have the peace of mind of knowing they won't fall. I would recommend these for seasonal items or if you rearrange your wall decor often.

I used several of these Sawtooth Picture Hangers to hang art when we moved into this building, and today, I pulled on the tab to remove one for the first time. It came off completely clean - after more than 12 years! Thanks 3M!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't hold I hung my mother's wedding picture - a 3.1 lb frame - from this 5lb hook, following all directions. It sat on the wall for a full 24 hours from installation to hanging. Within 6 months, I hear a crash in the hall, and come out to find Mom on the ground. There was a thumb-nail size bit of paint on the strip at the bottom, but the remainder was clean. Guess I will have to go back to hammer and nails.....
