Break way too easy
Disappointed so far. Breaks much too easily and I'm almost through the whole pack in 1 month. I have read online that the breakage threshold for these mounts is built in for safety. If I wanted a safety/ breakable mount I would buy a third party one that I can snap with my hands. I upgraded to brand name ones as I ride a boosted board through the city and want the worms eye view for license plate/ vehicle capture for liability if needed. These work great on things like my motorcycle helmet, but I'm fabricating my own aluminum mount as I can't find anything quality made by a third party or go-pro. They also dislodge often as the skateboard has way more intense bumps even though I'm just riding. I am creating my mount with screw holes for mounting.

The previous curved sticky mount I got around 7 years ago was used to connect a Hero 4 then 7 then 10 to my kayak helmet. Since then I have covered around 11k miles of sea kayaking and it is still stuck fast to the helmet but the helmet wore out so I bought a new helmet and another pack of grips and although only around 150 miles of use so far it seems well gripped, no reason why this one shouldn’t outlive my new helmet as far as I can tell.

Наклеял на сноуборд, выждал сутки. На втором спуске со склона, крепление вместе с камерой и боксом, оторвалось и улетело, я заметил только у подъемника. За это время камеру кто-то подобрал и не вернул... так что используйте на свой страз и риск. Очень разочарован потерей новой камеры....

It wouldn't fit on my helmet.
I tried putting the curved mount(that came with the Hero 9 Black) on my MTB helmet and it wasn't curved enough): , so I had to put it on my visor and it sort of covers my forehead and doesn't look very fire. I would buy other mounts/accessories but they ARE NOT CHEAP.

The real deal!!
You know you have tru gopro sticky mounts when they stay put! Ive used the mounts from china, good luck hope you have a lanyard on! With the gopro brand they stay attached, through rain, great mounts you can trust them! But its wise to use gopro lanyard, just in case!

I use these mounts on my racecar and have NEVER had any problems with them. Always stays on the car, even after sitting in the sun all day. I've spun out a few times and the only issues I've had was the go pro angle spinning, never the adhesive.

Perdi mi gopro por ello
No se pega bien al casco, al entrar en una tienda, el cambio de temperatura despego la pegatina y perdí mi Gopro. Mucho cuidado con ello. La usaba para grabar en dron también asique me quede sin poder grabar nada. No lo recomiendo

Fell off first time
Definitely use a back up system with them. Attached to a helmet as per directions and it came off and sank first time it was used wakeboarding. Lost our new go pro and go pro don’t do anything about it. Beware.
