Rated 2 out of 5 by from Worked great until my GoPro sank to the bottom of the sea... I used this accessory to bring my GoPro with me on open water swims and kayaking trips, either clipped to the kayak or stuffed into my swim trunks. Unfortunately on a recent kayak supported swim the camera housing detached from the handler as I flipped the kayaking while getting on board. While the floating stick was still clipped to the kayak the camera housing with the camera inside had detached.... I am pretty sure the camera was well connected to the handler but of course impossible to check or verify. Thinking how to add an additonal layer of security in the future, e.g. by protecting the detachable clip with a layer of duct tabpe etc....

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, not perfect :wave::watermelon::ocean: One if my mounts broke, nothing major, but since i paid a lot i expected the money to much the built quality. The application is really easy to use. Helps with Instagram stories etc. Right now I am using my Go Pro 10 for black and white photography, since it is so small i can fit it anywhere (check my Instagram @papadopavlos) Marketing-wise I believe the head mount should be free/included with the GoPro since it is the one capturing the "most POV" experiences, hence making people use your products and sharing their stories Long story short, Great product, but there is a room for improvement regarding the gadgets and the pricing

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Worked Great First Day The first day I used this floating grip while on a 2 week snorkeling trip in Indonesia the small connector piece between the grip and the strap separated and a piece was lost on the boat. Ugh. I had to rig a new connection with remaining tiny string and large elastic. I would like to get a replacement strap if possible? Otherwise the grip worked great. I was able to let it float alongside me when not using. Grip dried quickly even in the humidity. Except for the failed connector, all else was fine. Also, one final recommendation, please make the thin string looped to the grip more flexible and add an extending capability. The small string regularly became tightly wound in the Indonesian currents. Thanks

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't float when using protective housing Be careful when using this for scuba diving as it does not float at depth with a HERO9 and the Protective Housing + Waterproof Case. During a recent scuba trip to Maui my Hero 9 with the waterproof case and the floating handle came off my wrist approximately 25 ft below the surface. Once I realized it, I surface and began looking for the bright orange handle, which was nowhere to be found. Luckily we were able to find the camera at the bottom of the ocean between some rocks, but it was definitely not floating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome First Time Out I just bought my Hero 9 and the first dive it somehow became unfastened from my gear hook. I didn't realize this until 20 minutes back on the dive boat. The captain (after about a half hour more) was able to go back to our pickup are and low and behold, there was my GoPro floating and waiting to be found!!! I had both the Handler and the dive housing and yes, I did get a better keeper for the camera. Hay GoPro, when are you going to have a light that will match the depth of the housing?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So amazing!! This is so cool! I bought this for skateboarding and in-general filming. It works so great and I loved how the handle was a soft foam (very comfortable) The floater was super useful when it slipped out of my hand and I while swimming in a lake I saw the bright orange right away and was able to grab it. Also, the adjustable wrist strap was great. I recommend this product not only for the water but for non-water sports as well. Great product, highly recommend this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Keeps GoPro secure and visible for water use Will be perfect for underwater use mainly because it floats and is visible with the orange handle tip. The rubber of the handle has a non-slip feel about it which is also helpful along with wrist strap. However, for smaller hands it is quite bulky to hold and could perhaps have been a few millimetres thinner, also it is quite long - maybe this could have been a few cm's shorter too (thinking space in rucksacks for transportation too). Overall though, a good buy.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Broke in 6 months I live in Hawaii and used this mount less than 10 times in the water. The plastic mount just completely broke off only 6 months after I purchased it. Super disappointed. It looks like the saltwater may have corroded it. I would think this water product would be designed to withstand all underwater conditions, but apparently not. Next one I buy I'll be sure to rinse with fresh water after each use. They don't tell you that when you buy it.
