FABULOUS! Enjoying its simplicity.
I bought this camera as a back-up after my Canon Ixus started having screen issues. So far, it's been excellent, being one of the lowest priced point and shoot cameras on the market. However, it took me some experimenting to figure out video playback, as this is not clear in the manual. You have to press the mode button to enter playback mode whilst in recording mode (the blue video camera icon displays above in the top left hand corner) , then press the mode button again to select the video you want to play back by pressing left and right keys. Videos show as a film strip icon, whilst still photos have a blue arrow. Lastly, press the larger shutter button down on top of the camera and it will begin playing back. Push OK again to stop play back. Why this is not included i.d.k? Traditionally ilford make terrific analog film and have a great name and reputation for it. I took a chance on this camera and I'm really enjoying it's simplicity. The pictures are sharp and focused. I think it's an excellent beginner's camera once you get the knack of it. As a ready back-up camera it's been well worth its low price.

mac webcam failure
Whenever the usb-c cable is plugged in on mac it mounts the SD card but there is no way to instead use it as a webcam. Nor is there any HDMI out. Webcam is a claimed feature in Aust adverts, but mentioned nowhere else.

For this camera to work, what do I need to buy separately for it to work straight away?
Hi Gary, to use it straight away, you’ll need to purchase a microSD card separately (up to 32GB, Class 10 recommended) as it does not have built-in storage for saving photos or videos. A camera case or pouch is also recommended for protection, and an extra battery is a useful optional add-on for extended use.

What resolution are the images taken in on this camera, it says 1080p HD video resolution in the specs and description but doesn't state the resolution of the images.

how do I transfer photos from the camera into my android
Thanks for your question. You cannot transfer image/video files between Camera and Mobile device directly. You need to transfer the files to a computer via USB type-C cable, or by removing the micro SD card from the camera, and plugging into a card reader. ^CO

When i turn the camera on for the first time it, then turns off immediately and switches to the have a good day title and turns off. How do i turn it on and work it?
Thanks for your question. We suggest to check the battery charge, if it's need charge before use, please use the type-C cable and USB connection to charge the camera. When the camera indicator light is red, it means the camera is charging. When the camera light goes out, it means the camera is fully charged. (Or the camera has no battery installed or the battery is not in place. Please note: For first use, please use the camera after fully charged. Hope this helps with your query.
