Great value for a "sports" lens
Got this lens during the King's birthday weekend deals, since it was surprisingly cheaper than most specialist camera stores.
Needed a lens to capture indoor sports events and this didn't disappoint. Got some relatively good shots with enough reach to get good facial expressions even from the grandstands. Haven't really checked for front/back-focusing issues, but I'd definitely recommend downloading and using the Tamron Lens Utility software to customise it to your liking (I primarily just take photos and this lens AF-motor is set to linear by default [smoother transition for video]).
