Look Out Below!
I have never had a mouse slide off any computer/laptop for over 20 years. I usually place the mouse on the right-hand side of the laptop itself that sits on a portable table. My Logitech NEVER slid off, and I think I may have dropped my mouse 5 times (I really think it is 2, as I only recall 1). This mouse fell off my laptop over 10 times the very first day. When I compared the 2 (I don't throw away anything till it's tested), I discovered that Logitech was smart enough to make the mini legs slightly sticky to prevent the mouse from falling off the computer and to the floor. I will stick with Logitech in the future, a brand of peripheral electronics I can always rely on.

USB receiver came apart in USB port
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used mouse for two days without issue. Went to remove the receiver from the USB port and the metal usb fitting on the receiver (little blue piece that allows the mouse to "talk" to the computer) broke off from the blue plastic part and remained stuck in my usb port (actually an Apple USB dongle for a MacBook Pro). Not ideal. I was able to remove it from the USB with pliers, but the two pieces no long stay attached to one another as they should.

Not special!
Have used the touch pad built into my old Gateway for 14 years. Touch pad in my new HP laptop is not as easy to use. Old one had right and left buttons in addition to finger pad. This gave more control over cursor and clicks. The HP pad seems to have a mind of its own. I bought mouse to see if it would give me better control. After trying it for several weeks I've ordered a track ball. When it comes i can stop chasing the mouse around my desk. I also disliked the fact that the mouse blue tooth connection requires a USB port. Since this laptop has only two and the other is dedicated to a printer, I now have no unused USB's.

Didn't work. Tried 3 different computers. No go.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the wireless mouse to go with the new laptop. Put in the batteries, in the correct orientation, inserted USB thing (it didn't go in easily), turned on mouse...nothing. Pushed the connect button a million times....nothing. Tried different new batteries....nothing. Tried it in other laptop...nothing. Tried it in still another laptop...nothing. See the trend? It didn't work. Maybe I got one that was dropped or something. I assume these do work just not the one I got. Oh and the battery orientation markings were nonexistent, super faintly marked, or I am blind. Only way to know was to have the paper instructions handy.
