Peace of mind at an affordable price
Neat and compact yet holds 4 times more than my previous portable HD. Very good value too. Provides peace of mind as it makes back up and security of my data easy and at a very affordable cost. Cloud storage can work too but there is still a part of me that likes the idea of retaining access of my own data and this product allows this and also lets me manage the way data is filed for future access if needed.

Good for the price
I don’t know what the transfer rate is, but it takes a long time to copy and to load up lists of files in my finder/file manager. So reviewing files is agonizing. So I’m just using it as storage for now and I have to use some of my old hard disks instead, because they don’t stagger when I’m scrolling through files for sorting. That’s the disappointment for this product.

will it be compatible with Mac OS27 and a Time machine?
Great questions. While we can't confirm compatibility for MacOS27, as this has yet to be released, it works with current & previous versions of MacOS up to MacOS10.0.4. It will work with Apple Time Machine and may require reformatting when first connecting, prior to using as a backup disk. Trust this helps! ^CO

Can i plug this straight away to Hp pc?

Is this compatible with PS5 please?

Yes, you can connect this drive, or other USB hard drive or SSD to your PS5 which can be used to store and manage compatible games, files, and applications, freeing up space on your console. You can't connect the drive through a USB hub, and USB Type-A connection storage must use the rear port. Trust this helps! ^CO

Can this be formatted to Mac OS extended format to use with Time Machine?
Great question Carren! Yes, according to Seagate, you will need to reformat the drive for Mac prior to using it. Once complete, the drive should be detected allowing you to manually move files to the drive or can be set-up with Time Machine automatic backup. Trust this helps!
