Great headsets
Very satisfied with these headsets from JBL. Really good and clear audio quality and due to the cushioned ears, you get completely emerged in the sound. Tried with PC and Xbox and the quality is consistent on both - 3.5mm jack and USB connection. Good mic sound and volume. Lovely adaptation to various music styles and gaming regimes. Definitely worth buying if you are a moderate gamer who needs a comfortable headset with great audio quality for a decent price.
Also, can be used with PC and various online meeting platforms such as Skype, Zoom and GoToMeeting.

- First impression : They are very nice , comfortable and the sound , wow..
- They are not wireless.. They connect via 3.5mm Aux cable , and also to a Type C to USB cable .. cables are very well made , and long to give you more freedom..
- Quality .. these Headphones are well made , light weight and seem to be very durable..
- The cushions feel nice , soft and comfy..
- Sound : they are very loud , sound is very good , and the surround sound is very impressive , wow ..
also they are over the ear , big enough to give your ears plenty of space..
- Microphone : it sounds really good , clear , and loud enough .. I really like the fact that you can flip it up and it turns off , or you can use the Mic button underneath the left side to turn it on or off ..
- also there is another feature where you can adjust the level of the volume on the Mic when you are talking to your friends / game partners ..
- QUANTUM ENGINE : i really like this feature , where you can customize the Sound the way you prefer , the Lights , and the Spatial Sound on or off..
- Overall .. is a very good product , Great Sound ,
and Good Quality .. for it’s price .. as You Would Expect from any JBL Product ..

An excellent ‘all-rounder’ headset!
This headset has some amazing features - some of which are the high quality of the device, the easy set up and the great sound that this headset provides. I have been gaming for many years and over these years i have tried out numerous headsets, and of which many were low quality and ended up breaking after a month. However, this headset is of a high quality standard and my friends even noticed that my sound had improved! Overall, these headphones really are great and i would recommend them to fellow gamers.

Played last night
It was very comfortable I give it a 9/10 for comfort.
It was not wireless.
And wen playing the game the sound quality was not there.
The mic was great. Only issue there it only moves up and down.

(Couldn’t hear as well as the PlayStation one I recently got)

Doesn’t bother me, but isn’t as convenient as the one I currently use. And the mic only goes up n down. The one I currently use has 2 mics and they are imbedded into the headset so they don’t get in the way.

Fab headphones!!!
Really quick to set up, no real need for instructions, you simply plug in and go.
They are very comfortable which is a bonus as I tend to wear them for hours when gaming. When I need a break, the headphones swivvle so they can rest easily around your shoulders and again this is very comfortable.
You can change the volume when gaming and also the volume when chatting which is something I really liked about this headset.
The bass and treble from the headphones is EXCELLENT and the microphone picks up sound extremely well. I have used these headphones many times when talking to my friends through discord.
Whilst they're not wireless which I would prefer, they are still really good as the braided cable is nice and long.
Cons.
I could hear a faint white noise coming out of both earpieces whilst charging. This goes away as soon as you unplug the charger.

Poor build quality and breaks easily
I bought the jbl quantum 400 over a month ago and they started to crack from the sides where you rotate them, the pieces started to crack even more until the broke. i have bought the jbl quantum 200 before and they broke in less then a month, then i went and replaced them and then the same problem happened. so i decided to buy the jbl quantum 400. all the quantum series have poor build quality. I handled all the headsets with care; didn't drop them, didn't throw them or bend/twist them but they still broke every time within a month. But their sound quality is excellent. if they had a better build quality, they would've been one of the best headsets in the market.

Amazing sound quality!!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was wondering how JBL would fair in the Gaming community, and with these Quantum 400's they surpassed any expectations I had. Being that they are JBL I knew that they had a lot to live up to sound quality wise and they went above and beyond.The durability of these headphones is top notch. They are lightweight but durable in all the right areas. I played COD with these 400's and you truly feel like your in the game, its an amazing feeling. The team I was playing with could hear me loud and crystal clear with the attached microphone. If you are looking for an amazing set up for sound with your gaming experience, but not wanting to spend a ton of money, I would suggest you picking up a pair of the Quantum 400's.

Are they compatible with an iPhone?

The JBL Quantum 400 can be connected via audio cable 3.5mm, but not over Bluetooth. If your iPhone is capable of an adapter for the 3.5mm cable, then yes, you can connect the JBL Quantum 400 to your phone.

Will these be too big for a 9 year old?? At the smallest setting, could they fit a child?
Our JBL Quantum 400 can be adjusted to fit different or even bigger sizes. However, we have the JBL JR300BT headphones were designed mainly for kids from the ages 3 to 10 years old. How can I turn in the lights to my head set
Hi there. Please note that the LED lights on the Quantum 400 headset will work when connected via USB cable. It will not work when using the 3.5 Aux cable connection. With that said, if the LED lights can be turned on or off by pressing the holding mic mute button on the headset for about 5 seconds.
