I have to say it was great when using to record videos. The simplicity of connecting this device to my phone and sync was flawless. I started using close to me and recording sounded great. Then I tested about 20 feet away between rooms and sounded as if I was talking right into the phone. Amazing sound and clarity is well worth the purchase. I tested for a period about 30 minutes without an battery issues and expect this can be used for hours. The only issue item had is wind shield had to be carried separately and no where to house to use when needed. If s compact wind shield could be developed it would be perfect.

It plugs directly into my phone through USB C (make sure you buy the right plug for your phone) and sets up very quickly. It comes with a charging case which protects the microphone on top of charging it. It comes with a cover to block out the wind, which has been great for filming outside, especially at the beach. I’ve used this with both my phone and my laptop, and it’s worked great with both. I have recorded myself playing piano and it sounds so much clearer than my phone mic does. I walked over 20 feet away with the microphone and the connection was still top notch. Would definitely recommend, especially for content creators.

It easily connected to my phone (Samsung S24) and after downloading the app, I was off and running. The sound is very clear and powerful. It clips on easily to clients and is not too big on its own. The wind cover is a little awkward to put on and is pretty big but it does the job. The app is pretty good, though I would prefer more adjustments. In terms of a phone based mic that adds to significantly better audio to my phone videos, it really is pretty great!

I like this thing so much I want to figure out how to use it for everyday use, not just content and streaming creation. The thought behind is it slick, and the execution is sweet. The idea just makes sense and will really enable better sound, better audio and better content for those that choose to use it. The overall package is so well done, how it fits into sleek charger, how it all integrates, how easy it works. I love that it comes with a wind diffuser for the mic as well, but that would also be related to my one complaint - I wish there was space in the charger/holder for the diffuser as well. Overall I think this would make a really great addition to content creators and no one would regret purchasing it and using it.

The JBL Quantum Stream Wireless (USB-C) microphone is tiny but packs powerful capabilities from the ease of being a plug and go device, to its super long range transmission, to the simple app use. This microphone is really for the on the go streamers, influencers, youtubers, instagramers, and so much more! I have used the Quantum Stream for reels, one on one interviews, to even musical recordings for a brass quintet. You will not find another product that comes close to competing with the JBL Quantum Stream!

Whether you are a journalist or a content creator, this microphone has you covered. In the box you get the clip on mic, wind screen, 2.4Ghz receiver/dongle (USB-C type), charging case, USB charging cable and quick start guide. To make best use of the microphones features and customization, JBL recommends downloading their JBL Headphone app via the Apple app store or Google play store. The app lets you download the latest firmware and offers more control over the mic’s settings. You can adjust gain, noise cancellation, EQ settings, auto off timer, LED light adjustment as well. A simple press of a button on the mic mutes it and turns the indicator light solid red letting you know it’s muted. I tested the mic and it was able to block out background noise very well especially when compared to my phones internal mic. It offers a combined 24 hour charge, 6 hours for the mic and 18 hours for the charging case. Another great feature is the ability to charge your phone while in use as the receiver has both a male USB-C for plugging into you phone as well as a female USB-C for plugging in your charger as it allows pass through charging. The quick charge capability will allow a 15 minute charge to provide one hour of use. The charging case requires 2 hours to fully charge from dead. If you plan on using it outdoors throw on the provided windscreen which allows for crystal clear audio while reducing wind noise. I highly recommend this wireless mic If you are looking to improve your audio recording on your phone with USB-C charging connector.

Thanks for your question. Our JBL Quantum Stream Wireless can be used as a microphone on a Windows PC as long as the PC has a USB-C port to plug in the wireless dongle.

I was considering this mic for multiple uses, but mainly for Zoom calls with a personal group hangout. I'm concerned about range from the adapter/receiver when stepping away from my office to go downstairs or outdoors. I have JBL LIVE660NC headphones.

It offers a transmission range of up to 100 meters (328 feet). This range is achieved through a low-latency 2.4 GHz wireless connection between the microphone and the USB-C receiver that connects to your device.

The signal will have to pass through multiple walls at my home, but less than 100 Feet in actual distance. My headphones are Bluetooth, so no issue there. The mic would be Wi-Fi so I'm concerned about signal quality.

Walls and other obstacles can affect the signal quality on our JBL Quantum Stream Wireless, and while less than 15 meters is within its typical range, multiple walls may cause occasional drops or interference. For best performance, try to keep a clear line of sight between the mic’s transmitter and receiver whenever possible.
