Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost perfect, except for drivers The hardware itself is pretty great. I like the OLED screen, the keyboard is good if a tiny bit too firm, it comes with a great carry case, and the pen seems very accurate. It's very lightweight. I'd recommend the 128GB/1TB version and putting in your own 2TB 2230 card. But the system does have some small issues which are fixable if ASUS wanted to. The most annoying of all of these, is that the Radeon drivers are way out of date, nearly 6 months, and most modern games will complain about it, e.g. Death Stranding 2. You cannot use generic AMD Adrenalin drivers on this system as it will break the system audio. That really, really sucks, and seems to be common on ASUS laptops. Second, the lower button on the pen doesn't seem to do anything. Usually it swaps between drawing and erasing. Multiple people online have reported the same thing, with no public fix yet. Third, you cannot boot from the microSD card slot. On a small laptop like this being able to swap your OS on the microSD would have been amazing, but they just don't allow it as a boot option in the startup screen. Pretty disappointing. I'd recommend the laptop for general usage, but, those are pretty important issues. Other niggles but which I haven't factored into the review because they're too small: the only storage option aside from microSD is a single-sided 2230 slot so the max storage you'll get here is 2TB plus a 1TB microSD card. If you cloud reset there are errors shown during Windows setup, but ASUS says these are normal. It doesn't seem to affect anything. They keyboard backlight only has a single blue colour, and more would have been nice. Also I did not have immediate success with Ubuntu 26.04 but I am 99% sure Ubuntu is to blame for that, and that you can get it working with workarounds.
