First gaming monitor....and I'm only 35 lol
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For years I've been an avid gamer, mainly console. All my experience has been through a the a TV. It was only once I had kids I knew I needed an alternative and my own little space to game. The 27 Odyssey G55 ticked all the boxes for me. From the low cost to the quality of the picture for my Xbox series X and Ps5, and that's really all I needed. The curve took some getting use to as I've never used one before but the 1000R really grabs you right from the go especially with FPS games. The menu settings were a little fidgety but once I figured it out I didn't need to change it. Definitely Worth getting for casual gamers and dads.

Popping sounds and too heavy for its own stand
Awful quality, it's own stand can't hold it up straight. Monitor makes constant popping sounds when it's warming up or cooling down.

Fantastic monitor

Well Built, excellent features and performance.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the monitor for a month now and can't fault it's build, features and performance when considering the price. Certainly good value. Screen is crisp and huge. I replaced 2x27" monitors and find the screen area better and more versatile from a usage perspective - often using 3 vertical window setup. My son, who plays games, loves it too, (it has a good high refresh rate ) which probably means another one for his PC soon.
