Rated 1 out of 5 by from Overpriced Toner and Forced Brand Loyalty I am extremely disappointed with the HP 218X Hi Yld Yll Toner W2182X and with HP as a company. The cartridge itself is outrageously expensive, and HP has intentionally locked their printers so you are forced to buy only their branded toner. Third party options that cost far less are blocked, even when they work perfectly well. This feels like a cash grab, not customer care. The printer hardware was reasonably priced, but the long term cost of ownership is absurd once you realize you are trapped into buying HP toner at inflated prices. There is no technical reason for this restriction other than profit. Print quality is fine, but it is nothing special or worth the premium. Plenty of other brands deliver comparable results without punishing customers at checkout. HP is prioritizing control and revenue over fairness and choice. This is the last HP printer I will ever buy. I strongly recommend anyone shopping for a printer look at brands that respect their customers and allow affordable alternatives instead of locking you into overpriced consumables.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cost is too high The cost of replacing toner cartridges is exhorbitant. The materials involved manufacturing the toner cartridges do not justify the high replacement cost. We participate in the recycling program. Why can't we purchase recycled cartridges, or at least get a credit to apply to replacements? This lowers my opinion of the HP brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressed with HP Toner Quality I'm very pleased with the color quality of all of the HP 218XL colors for my HP Color Laser Jet PRO MFP 3301cdw. The color stays bright and accurate on all paper I've used. Now, I'm observing how long the toner cartridges will last compared to my old Ink Jet printer.

Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders within 2 days. Delivery costs are calculated based on your location and the size of your order. Furniture may take up to 8 weeks to deliver as most products are made specifically for your order. Some Customer Direct products are shipped from overseas and may take longer to arrive. Some goods may take longer to deliver if a product is currently not in stock. If you feel your product has failed a Consumer Guarantee (as defined by New Zealand Consumer Law) then don't worry you can easily return it to your local Harvey Norman store.
