This product review is required for product and warranty registration. Bit hard to do a product review when the product has been owned and used for less than a day by the team. But so far the installation of software has been a bit hit and miss on WIFI. All installed correctly once connected to the LAN. Output so far has been good, but it is early days so can't comment to ink usage / overall costs. All set to average as that makes most sense at this early stage. Thought about marking it as 1 star due to wasting my time with a review in order to register the product and get extended warranty.

While I am rating what I have seen the printer do highly, the difficulty I had with getting the thing to work was unbelievable. I have spent over 5 hours over 3 different days to get it to function. This has set my work back considerably and I am now working on the weekend. I have never had trouble setting a printer up before, but this one was a nightmare. It was the software that seemed to be the problem. I could get it to work when using my phone, but not the computer. Naturally, it was the computer that I needed to get it to work. As long as you have time and patience, I am sure it will be an amazing printer. (I very nearly took it back to the shop and told them it wouldn't work and go back to my previous brand).

An All In One To Rule Them All
For business related output this is just fantastic. I've only had it for a few days but everything I've thrown at it works well. No banding in multiple test pages and I'm happy enough with the photo quality from a business focused printer. It is set to standard quality by default and that's suitable for most things. Don't forget you can set the output quality to high in the printer driver and this makes everything just bit more solid and presentation worthy. I'd be happy to have it set to high all the time but that does slow the unit down a bit.

Efficient printer
I’m very satisfied with this printer. It allowed me such a smooth installation and I justed tested printing and it was fabulous. Also scan er you can choose black/color single or double sided with resolution quantity. Of course time will tell eventually but the first impression was really great

Shocking connectivity
I purchased this about 12 months ago, absolutely useless, When it is working it is great, however, it always loses connectivity with my computer and many times I cant scan to the computer or print from it via wifi. I also purchased another Epson for over 1k for work and it has the same problems. Next time, I buy another brand. I have had enough of this and its over 1k down the drain as I have to buy something else that is reliable.

Full of features
Love the double side auto feed copying feature, this is the main reason why I got this printer. It was very easy to setup and the first time I copy about 70 pages of a kid exercise book, the quality is great. Although it is not super fast, but that is what I expected from none laser printer anyway. In addition, having ink bottle is way cheaper for a long run than ink or laser cartridges, this is the second main reason of my purchase. First day loving it, time will tell if it last without any issue.

I love the features that this product has.
Firstly I love it because it is low cost to run, after having a lazer printer that required constant replacement of expensive cartridges I found this product to be a life saver.
I have owned 3 Epson inktank printers and feel well qualified to write a positive review. My new printer is easy to use, has excellent printing qualities, is reliable and is economical. I highly recommend this printer for any small business requiring a reliable printer for daily use for printing, copying and scanning.

How does the ET5800 scanner compare with the FF-680W scanner for old family photos? Quality and scan time? Technology differences? Thank you. ie should I buy the FF680W and a cheap multifunction copier separately? I only do a hundred pages a week printing
Thanks for a great question Garth. The FF-680W scanner is great for bulk scanning via the feeder function, however does have a lower overall scan quality. The ET5800 offers higher scanning resolutions and colours, at the expense of time, with only flatbed scanning available. Trust this helps!
