Once a book is downloaded do you need internet connection to read, or listen if an audio book
Hi Justan, you do not need an internet connection to read or listen to them. You only need Wi‑Fi to purchase, borrow, or download content, or to sync your library; after that, reading works fully offline, and audiobooks can be listened to offline as long as they’re already downloaded and connected to Bluetooth headphones or a speaker

Does kobo Clara support overdrive
Hi Ron, the Kobo Clara BW supports OverDrive, meaning you can sign in with your library card and borrow library ebooks directly on the device. It’s one of the Kobo models officially listed as OverDrive‑compatible, and New Zealand is a supported region.

Hi, Can you tell me if it reads .mobi , .epub & pdf? Curiously does it take micro sd cards as all 1500 of my books are on it. Thanks Ange
Great questions Ange! Kobo eReaders support viewing KEPUB which is their proprietary format for their platform, as well as EPUB, PDF, MOBI, and more. While it doesn't have an SD card slot, you could port these to Desktop then use the KOBO desktop app to sync. Hope this helps! ^CO
