• Precise AI-Powered Presence Detection: The FP300 uses advanced dual-sensing technology, combining infrared (PIR) and high-frequency 60GHz mmWave radar to accurately detect human presence. It can recognise even subtle movements, such as breathing, helping to avoid false “absence” detection when you are quietly sitting or resting.
• Broad Coverage: With a wide 120° field of view and a detection range of up to 6 metres, it easily covers entire rooms. AI-powered learning intelligently filters out common interferences such as curtains, fans, and small pets. Over time, the FP300 continuously refines its sensitivity and performance, reducing false alarms and becoming an increasingly reliable part of your smart home.
• Durable Design with Extended Battery Life: Traditional millimetre-wave radar sensors consume significant power, but the FP300 uses an energy-efficient dual-sensing mode. By linking the infrared sensor with the mmWave radar, power consumption is significantly reduced while maintaining high detection accuracy. Powered by two replaceable CR2450 batteries, the FP300 delivers up to 3 years of stable use in Zigbee mode and up to 2 years of battery life in Thread mode¹ . In Zigbee mode² , selected sensors can be turned off to further extend battery life, offering a more flexible and durable smart device experience.
• 5-in-1 Multi-Sensor for Comprehensive Smart Home Automations: The FP300 integrates five sensors in one device (PIR, mmWave, light, temperature and humidity). This allows a single device to fully sense both presence and environmental conditions. • Thread and Zigbee Support: Supporting both Zigbee and Thread, the FP300 is Aqara’s first and world-leading dual-protocol presence sensor. In Thread mode³ , it connects directly to Matter platforms such as Apple Home, Google Home, SmartThings and Home Assistant, without requiring an Aqara hub. Switching to Zigbee mode⁴  unlocks Aqara’s exclusive features, ensures compatibility with classic Aqara hubs and allows seamless integration into existing smart home systems.
• Aqara Home Exclusive Features: The FP300 is a wire-free device equipped with a multi-axis adjustable bracket, allowing effortless installation on walls, ceilings, magnetic surfaces and even in tight corners. This flexibility lets you position the device exactly where detection works best, without being limited to a single mounting option. Its compact and unobtrusive design blends seamlessly into any environment, delivering advanced functionality without compromising aesthetics.
