Great purchase.

We just wanted something cheap to be able to easily see 2-3 documents side by side instead of making do with a 13” laptop screen and we have been extremely impressed with this monitor. Easy to set up and use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from BEYOND ANNOYED WITH PHILIPS I cannot express just how ANNOYED I am with Philips monitors. This is the second monitor I have had in the last 16months! The first one just up and died out of nowhere 16 months after purchase and had been working fine up until then. I then replaced it under warranty with this 22E1N1100LA which as soon as in unpacked it and attempted to set it up discovered that the HDMI cable/port (could be both) DOES NOT WORK - straight out of the box!!! Luckily, or at least I thought luckily, I had the option of setting it up with a VGA cable. That worked for video HOWEVER I then discovered that the Audio port and speakers also DO NOT WORK - again this is straight out of the box! I now have to return this to officeworks where I bought it from, this will be the second time in a matter of days I have had to drive well out of my way to return a faulty philips monitor. I wish they had a Samsung with the features I need. Also the toggle power switch on this monitor is the MOST RIDICULOUS set up I’ve ever seen on any product. For starters It is hidden around the back of the monitor, which requires you to grab both sides of the monitor to press it as it takes a hard, long press to power on/off and then when you enter the menu option you want to it is very hard to press/toggle it to select the specific function you are wanting to turn on/off. I can also see the actual toggle switch breaking very easily too as it’s a small flimsy switch that as I stated needs to be pressed quite firmly to turn the monitor off.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good value monitor The 24" monitor is a good size for my needs on a small desk. The screen is clear and responsive. It doesn't have vertical tilt and the on/off button needs to be held for a few seconds to switch on or off, rather than just pressing and done. These are the only gripes I have and they are relatively minor. Overall a good value for money monitor.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice display Nice display. All controls are on one button on rear of display which you have to feel for from underneath the screen. Once set up you don’t really need it unless you want to switch monitor off. It automatically goes into standby mode when attached PC is switched off or goes into sleep mode.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from my monitor The picture is excellent, the sound not so good unless I have set up wrong, but this is a minor consideration for me. Main gripe is that Philips sent an incompatible lead, easy to overcome with a double ended extension just a bit annoying. Otherwise excellent.
