Rated 5 out of 5 by from customer service am impressed with the "express" service. I ordered toner from another on-line company and they referred the order to another supplier. I did not receive the toner for over a month. And when I finally received it, it was the wrong toner! Waited another several weeks for the right toner. Ordering it through HP gave me assurance the toner is authentic. Free 2-day shipping to Hawaii made it a painless shopping experience. DO NOT use refilled toners! Eventually the printer will not perform up to expectation and you spend time and money tossing out the recycled toner not to mention lost time reprinting everything once you realize what's causing the problem.

I had to replace the "compatible" 305 black toner cartridge with the HP original cartridge because the "compatible" one was printing black horizontal lines across the entire sheet of paper when I was really only printing in color (labels with orange and green print). When I replaced the "compatible" cartridge with the original HP one, I didn't see one black line on the paper. I am all about saving money when I can; however, I am convinced that "compatible do not work in my printer - or at least I haven't found the right manufacturer. It would be nice if HP would offer better deals on 305 toner cartridges (black and color) since they are so expensive! I pay more for 4 cartridges than I paid for the printer itself!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Toner replacement [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time in two years I needed to purchase new toner. It was a little confusing at first because there are so many types of this printer and some of the them use different toner cartridges. Measure twice, cut once and the correct toner was ordered and arrived in a timely fashion (COVID-19 permitting). After disinfecting the box, the installation was easy and returning the old cartridge was simple. I gave it four stars because the cost (as usual for cartridges) was a little high. Great printer though so you get what you pay for.
