Quality seemed ok out of the box. First night of use and the clock kept making random bursts of static noise throughout the night. Difficult returns process with online only purchase. Cannot recommend this product

Looks good but makes unnecessary noises!
I thought this clock was going to suit me as the light from the clock was good and numbers easy to read, but the clock after 3 days started to turn on radio every 15 seconds and just crackle and keep you awake all night, the clock radio part was unable to turn off so I threw it in the bin !!

Compact, basic appliance at an unparalleled price. Easy to tune, change stations and the light display readily visible and is corded so no constant battery change. Has the basic functions that I wanted and is fit for purpose.

How is this charged please? Power supply?
Hi Lisa, it is powered by a standard AC wall plug (mains electricity, typically 240V) for normal use, and it can also take a 9V battery only as a backup to keep the time and alarm settings if the power is interrupted.
