Perfect Ironing Board for Elderly
The Joseph Joseph Pocket Folding Ironing Board is perfect for my elderly mum. Ironing is such a difficult task for Mum, but with this ironing board it can be set up on the table and she can iron the essential items she believes need ironing and feel independent and in control. I no longer have to take the items home with me and iron them incorrectly. Who knew there we a right way to iron hankies. I would recommend this ironing board for anyone with an elderly or disabled person who uses a wheel chair. I was skeptical, particularly because it was so expensive but it has been a game changer for me and my Mum and I am glad I took the risk.

Drip lock technology great
Bought this at a reduced price which made this purchase easier. Don’t really want to iron much anymore but wanted a compact ironing board as sometimes need to use one. I have had a full ironing board in the past and had to put a towel underneath on the floor to catch the drips of water. I am very impressed with the drip lock technology with this board as there was no moisture at all underneath nor any moisture on the fold away legs. I used the board to iron a pillowcase and a shirt just to test it out and both were extremely easy to iron on the board. The size of the board was perfectly adequate for my usage. Board folds away neatly to the side of my utility worktop. Happy with this purchase.

Genius!
Firstly I should say I am not someone who irons everything to within an inch of its life so I can understand why there have been comments about it not being large enough for sheets etc BUT for us (middle aged couple) it’s perfect. Our old board and steam generator Otón was a complete faff to get out and set up and if you just wanted to iron one thing nine times out of ten I would just choose something else to wear. Not anymore. This set up has made such a difference in terms of ease of use and especially for storage because of the small space it takes up. It’s genius design and simplicity is brilliant. Maybe not for a medium or large family but for us it works! Re photos - the before and after. Please excuse the wall - being painted this weekend but I couldn’t wait to get my new toy on the wall.

The Pocket Plus Folding Ironing is, as it states easily portable, takes up very little space and is simple to use.
Being and old fashioned person, I should have liked to have one end a bit more pointed to make ironing shirts and blouses easier.
You do have to leave the board out after finishing if you are using a steam iron as the cover takes a while to dry - would not want to put it away damp.
All in all I think it will make life easier.

Compact ironing board
Really love this compact ironing board. It is lightweight and very stable. Doesn’t fit one of my irons, which is a shame as I use the board at a quilting group. However my main iron fits well. Have used it to iron smaller items but have ironed a shirt and jumper, just requires a different way of manoeuvring the items. Much easier than getting my main ironing board out.
Just hope the elastic tie lasts a long time.

Simply brilliant!
This sturdy little board is wonderful. Having downsized we are embracing minimalist living and this board is incredibly easy to use, opens and closes smoothly and the pocket for the iron is a brilliant design concept.
Would highly recommend this product for those struggling with storing a regular size ironing board and putting it in a cupboard along with all the other paraphernalia.

Excellent product and quality
Was a bit sceptical at first but was pleasantly surprised when it arrived made of good materials and very solid and you can feel the quality. As the more I use it the more I appreciate it, it folds up small and stores very easily on the wall its simple in design and is big enough for all my ironing

Excellent!
This product saves SO much space, yet still works as a no-compromise ironing board. It hangs inside a cupboard with the iron and its mains-lead sitting in their holder. Even in a home with lots of space, this is still a good idea. Who would have thought that someone could be so enthusiastic about something as simple as an ironing-board?
