Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointing design. Not what I hoped. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The design of this could be a lot better. I bought 2 of these to go in a double belfast sink. The feet don’t stop it sliding around the sink and the hard plastic ridges mean that water splashes up and out of the sink whenever the tap is on more than half way to full. If you need to lift the sink protector up to rinse the sink underneath, the plug / drainer insert falls out. In my opinion, this should be fixed. I am slightly disappointed with this purchase and annoyed at myself for not sending them back when I opened the first one and wasn’t what I hoped it would be. JJ are renowned for innovative design, but I think they’ve let themselves down with this item. I’m considering disposing of them and buying a simple rubber mat that would probably do a better job for a fraction of the cost.

In contrast to our previous Joseph Joseph sink protector this one is made from a hard plastic which feels cheap. The ribbed surface sends water from the tap everywhere and to cap it all the dark gray surface has discoloured to a milky gray after only three weeks use. Wish I hadn’t disposed of my old sink protector.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Useless item [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m usually a big fan of J&J products but this disappointed me. Really doesn’t do anything useful and is finally one of those products that is just a ‘look’ gadget that clutters the sink. Don’t bother.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as good as it seems! It fitted well into the sink but when water is in the sink the guard floats. The stopper does not stay closed and it is awkward pulling out the original sink plug from underneath the guard. I am not us h it.
