Just rinse your greens, attach the spindle, and give it a few pumps to spin away excess water. You can also remove the spindle and suction cup for a classic colander experience.   • This clever design combines the features of a salad spinner and a colander in one, thereby saving you precious cupboard space.
  • For preparing salads, simply attach the spindle and suction cup to the basket, add the food and rinse as normal under the tap. Fix the colander to the base of the sink with the suction cup and then pump the spindle up and down to rotate the basket and expel the excess water.
  • To use as a conventional colander, simply remove the spindle and suction cup and hold using the side handles. When finished, the spindle and suction cup fit neatly together for easy storage.
  • This handy kitchen tool is a breeze to clean and dishwasher safe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth Operation This is a fab item that can be used as a colander in the sink before anchoring and replacing the central plunger that activates the spin. The robust suction cup means virtually no effort is needed to activate the spin and no requirement to hold it down with the other hand. Sadly my sink has a central drain so it’s a logistical feat to anchor it to miss hitting the sink walls but I’m so impressed by the way it operates I’m happy to work around this. Additionally the holes are small and smooth so stems from finer salad like coriander and parsley don’t pop out and hinder the spin.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buy a normal spinner - Poor design and misleading marketing This product is an acceptable colander but a terrible spinner. If you want to spin more than a couple of portions of anything you can enjoy the contents flying past your head to cover your kitchen as the spin force launches all contents out. The marketing shows a full spinner being used and this is inaccurate and misleading as only a fraction of that could be spun at once, unlike a conventional salad spinner

It is a great size for what I need. Easily stored. Plus , bonus it matches the kitchen colour scheme. Joseph Joseph never disappoints.

Wish it was blue instead of green though I’m not a big fan of this green colour but it works so well and I store it in a cupboard.
