Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy it Really disappointed with this cleansing balm. Purchased due to my usual cleansing balm being out of stock and reading such good reviews on this one. Is much thicker and slower to melt than my usual balm. Smells greasy too if that makes sense? Wiped the balm off then rinsed. Although it seems like the makeup is dissolving - after rinsing, my towels all have makeup residue from me drying my face. Wake up on a morning with a greasy top layer on my face and now have a nice breakout. Please think carefully about purchasing if you're prone to bad skin. This isn't for you.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrific - bad reaction I'm sorry but this cleansing balm is utterly horrific. I've been a Clinique customer for 27 years. Never had any issues. Then I tried this cleansing balm for the first time - purchased it in duty free. I have developed a really bad red raw reaction on my face - around my eyes, nose, neck and cheeks. Red raw with opening sores and blisters. Itchy. Burning. Bleeding. I wish I could share a photo. I don't know what's in it to do this but it's horrific and distressing. Absolutely gutted Clinique. Now I wonder how long will it take for my skin to heal?!?!?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like no other! Really haven't used another product quite like it, my new firm favourite. I had been running low of my tub so had to order some more, didn't come in time in between my first tub running out so had to use another branded cleanser in between; completely stripped my skin and left me with a sore, prickly heated face. Finally, my new pot of TTDO came and even after just one cleanse of using it again, I can see the difference in my skin again and doesn't feel as irritated now. I would forever recommend this product/many other Clinique products!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Dream to Use! For me, this is a game changer! A little goes a long way and regardless the amount of make-up I'm wearing, it just melts off. The silky smooth texture makes me excited to take my make-up off at the end of the day. It's no longer a chore. My skin not only feels clean after but also well looked after. There's no more redness and irritation from trying to remove my make-up with cotton wool/wipes. Overall my skin is just a lot happier with it!

I have rosacea and sensitive skin and I'm usually very careful with trying out new products, however I decided to try this one because it was listed as "Safe for sensitive skin and sensitive eyes" on Clinique's website. Unfortunately I had an instant redness reaction and both my skin and eyes wwre burning and itching for a while. I won't use this product again!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Confused I don't understand this product at all. Maybe it's great and I just don't know how to use it properly, but it shouldn't take much working out. Use the balm first. Okay, but it's a solid, waxy substance; how I rub this into my face, exactly. Then rinse off, pat dry. Easy enough. Then cleanse. Isn't this a cleanser? Why do I need to use two cleansers? I got this as a freebie but I'll stick to my usual Clinque face wash, thanks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for sensitive skin This balm is the best cleansing balm! I have highly sensitive skin and suffer from dermatitis at times and this product this never causes any flare ups or disturbances. Despite other reviews saying its smells greasy it most certainly doesn't, it's just fragrance free which should always be seen as a bonus. It's more on the expensive side however will say lasts about 4/5 months if used every single day. 10/10
