Rated 1 out of 5 by from Burning sensation I am a devoted fan of Clinique's Contour Eyes Cream, so I was eager to try their serum for the first time. However, my experience with this product was less than ideal, especially for someone with sensitive skin like myself. Unfortunately, after applying the serum, I noticed my skin turning red and experiencing a slight burning sensation. I used the product for several days, but the discomfort persisted, and, to my disappointment, I didn't observe any positive changes in my skin's condition. In fact, my skin appeared dull, and it lacked the moisturized feeling that I usually expect from a Clinique's skincare product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very strong?? Or just me? I'm slightly baffled by this product. I bought it as soon as it came out, in the first few weeks of it being on sale. I loved it and my skin had no problems with it (my only complaint would be that it didn't last long). I then bought another bottle a few months later and I literally cannot put it anywhere near my face without getting what feels like an allergic reaction. PainfuI, raw, burning. I've used lots of different retinols over the years and know the tricks for helping skin along, like putting it on after moisturizer, but even that upsets my skin. Did Clinique change the formula after the initial batches??

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as good as its predecessor I have used CLINIQUE products religiously for a least 20 years my skin has always looked great, following a regular regime. I purchased the latest serum after realising it had replaced the smart serum in the silver canister. Initially I thought it was as good as the previous product but noticed my skin was starting to lose its brightness.Then as I got closer to the bottom of the bottle, the serum started to lack the same colour and thickness. I'm near the end and it is so greasy I'm no longer using it. After being a regular CLINIQUE serum user, I'm afraid I will have to look for an alternative elsewhere.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from GOOD & BAD I have only ever spent a few pounds on skincare but decided to treat myself after reading the reviews for this serum. However, after only 5 weeks and only using one pump morning and night, the bottle is empty! Is this to be expected? I absolutely love the serum and have noticed a real difference to my skin but if this is how long a bottle lasts, I simply can't afford it, which is really disappointing. So 5 stars for the serum but one only for how long it lasts.

This serum has been a nightmare and left me with retinol burn for weeks, especially on my forehead and cheeks. I look like I've developed rosacea. I followed instructions carefully and use Clinique moisturisers with SPF and City Block, plus sunscreen in warmer weather, but my skin is red. Please be very careful if you decide to try this product. I'm not sure my skin will ever recover.

As with most Clinique products it is unscented so great for anyone sensitive to scented skincare. I've used a similar Clinique serum before and really loved it, this one feels similar but hopefully with greater long term results, time will tell! Sinks in reality quickly and can apply moisturiser straight after. I would choose this as a night serum

After only a very short time of using this, I started to notice that my skin was feeling softer and more supple and even younger if that is at all possible as the lines that I had not only around my eye but my mouth too seem to be getting less and less noticeable as the days go by. All I can say is i love it and would recommend you try it.

It's a nice, lightweight formula which applies really well, and has a delicate, pleasant fragrance. My skin felt soothed upon application, and after only 2 days, there was a reduction in my fine lines and skin tone. After 7 days, although not perfect, my skin looked and felt renewed.
