Rated 1 out of 5 by from My skin reacted very badly I was advised to get this moisturiser by a consultant with Clinique as my skin was super dry and flaky. It doesn't absorb into my skin properly and after a couple of weeks my skin broke out in a bad itchy reaction, I thought it was a one off or something I ate etc but I tried putting it on again after a few days and the same happened again. It makes my skin very red and hot and brings me out in lumps and hives all over my face. Gutted as I have used Clinique redness solutions and decided to try something different but wish I'd stuck to the redness solutions.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Brings me out in spots I've been trying to find a replacement for the only moisturiser I could use, your wonderful Superdefense SPF20 daily defense moisturiser for dry/dry-combination skin. I've been trying the 15ml pot of Moisture Surge 72H, but each time it brings me out in spots, so I've had to stop using it. I'm so disappointed - please, please, please reinstate the Superdefense Daily SPF20 (not the new replacement) - it was brilliant. Other companies listen to their customers and change back - please would you consider doing the same?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My skin looks amazing I was diagnosed with acne rochea and apply metronidazole gel which helps but also drys skin terribly I bought this with no expectations as you just try everything It has absolutely transformed my skin no irritated skin feels soothing and the dryness has completely gone which in turn has totally calmed my skin discomfort. Can't recommend enough I wish I had taken before and after pictures Thanks clinigue I will most certainly pay more to get more in the future and try your other products

I don't know if I have picked the wrong product for myself or it's just not very good but I genuinely don't see any benefits. I see no difference in my skin at all - I brought the 150mls if you get it, it will last you a long time as you don't need lots and it spreads and applies nicely but unfortunately I won't be buying this again and I feel I'm going to waste this which is s shame.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Couldn't live without it Ignore any negative reviews - go to a clinique counter, if you can, to try it for yourself if you're not sure. I have dry skin with rosy cheeks but otherwise blemish free. This is the only thing I've used that really gives me that moisturised feeling that I crave. I buy the 125ml tub so I don't run out. It's the intense version or nothing for me. The usual moisture surge is no better than rubbing milk into my skin, it soaks in so fast :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Delighted and relieved! I have always had dry skin and in latter years it has become more sensitive and prone to red, itchy patches. I found Clinique's 'redness solutions' range good, but felt I needed still more moisturising so have started using this instead. I was wary, but after a week of using it am delighted and relieved - the red itchyness has stayed away and all dry flakiness is gone, so my skin feels positively dewy!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Makes my eyes sting and stream It may be just me, but I have changed from the normal moisture surge to give this new one a go. As soon as I put it on my face (leaving a large area around my eyes free) the fumes make my eyes sting like I've put washing up liquid in my eyes! and I can't stop them from streaming! Not great when I'm trying to put on mascara for work! I use the Clinique moisture surge eye gel with no issues at all.

Have been using this gel cream for a few weeks and have seen and felt an improvement. I love the gel/cream texture as it feels really cooling on application and is an excellent base for makeup. My skin feels and looks more fresh, hydrated and my glow is slowly returning. Will explore other products within the range.
