Rated 5 out of 5 by from simply alluring on men and women I was first introduced to this fragrance by a guy who wore it daily. To this day I would describe him as intoxicating and 90% of that lasting impression is due to Red Roses. I immediately bought the 100ml for myself and it remains my favorite JM cologne. I have a strong attachment to roses from my childhood and this scent does not disappoint. It starts with a strong burst of fresh, natural rose, but the finish, as it settles into your skin, is what elicits the most appeal and charm. It is simply alluring on men and women. It settles into a soft honey or beeswax without abandoning its original notes of true rose...but perhaps that is just me. I adore it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First Big Perfume Purchase I'll start by saying I am not a big perfume user, and I thought I'd always stick to cheaper brands, but I love rose scents, and am a bit picky with them, because some smell too soapy, elderly woman-esque. I sampled the Jo Malone Red Roses fragrance while tagging along with a friend who knows perfume and sampled it. I really fell in love with the scent and wavered a bit if I wanted to spend quite so much money on perfume, but I think it was a worthy treat. I have tried more rose perfumes during other outings and none compare to the pure, rose garden scent of Red Roses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My ultimate favorite fragrance As a florist, I smell many different types of roses and flowers on a regular basis. And sampled multiple rose perfumes, however this perfume smells just like freshly cut roses. It has a clear, understated rosey presence. I get multiple compliments every time I wear it. When I bear flowers, people always think it's the roses that smell great, however it's my perfume making its way to my loved ones noses. On a person note, this is one of the only perfumes I can wear graciously from beginning to end. From the strongest point of the first spray, to the faded fragrance left ok my skin. It has all been tolerable. No head ache, and no smell change! More than that, I enjoy this perfume endlessly. It's a wonderful fragrance for day or night. Bringing bright and gentle pleasantries to either hour.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of my all time favorite fragrances This cologne is so beautiful. It's fresh and green and bright and deeply rose-the whole rose, stems and all, even fern fronds in the bouquet. It projects well on my skin, especially for a cologne, and I get about 2 hours of wear before I need to re-spray, but that's the longevity I expect from a cologne. This is the scent I wear when I'm sick and want to feel better, when I'm feeling down and want to feel happier, when I just want to smell wonderful. It's the closest to true rose I've ever smelled in a fragrance-no potpourri, modern, fresh, and quite simply breathtaking. My favorite things to layer with it are Earl Grey & Cucumber or try your favorite chocolate scent. I wish Jo Malone sold travel atomizers so it would be easy to take with me in my purse.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Favourite Scent Red Roses is by far my favourite Jo Malone fragrance besides the classic Pomegranate Noir. Whenever I wear Red Roses I always get asked what perfume that I am wearing. The scent last forever and pairs nicely with last years Nashi Blossom perfume which I bought is too an amazing scent. I wore Reds Roses on the day of my operation and when I woke up in the recovery room both nurses asked which perfume I was wearing and said 'You are the best smelling patient we have ever had'.

The lemon/citrus top note hits quick but does not linger and the red rose accord lasts for hours. I have received many compliments and this is quickly becoming my signature fragrance. Added bonus: it does not trigger my migraines.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fresh, authentic, beautiful This isn't me - but don't let that put you off. I was recently given a sample and have been genuinely surprised by how lovely this is. The beautiful florals are balanced by fresh citrus and green notes. I don't get any spiciness, but the lovely authenticity of the fragrance more than makes up for it. It's like wandering through a florist or taking a deep breath of fresh dewy rose bushes. Enchanting...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Roses are Red I was stuck for the ideal present for my gorgeous mum. She is not a jewellery person, doesn't drink or smoke and is a stict vegan. A very tall order. So, I bought her the red roses cologne. She does not usually wear any perfume ( sensitive skin) but I risked it anyway. She was surprised at my choice of gift initially. She then opened it, and sprayed it onto her wrist. After a brief sniff, she burst into tears.Fearing it was an allergic reaction, I was consumed with guilt. Once she had composed herself, she gave me a big hug and said " thank you so much. This smell reminds me of when your dad and I were courting and my memories of that time just came flooding back". My father died almost 20 years ago and the smell of this perfume has brought his memory close. I am so glad that I purchased this for my mum.
