Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely in pink [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Jean Paul Gaultier scandal eau de parfum for free from influenster in exchange for my honest review. The bottle is a little different from the other Jean Paul Gaultier perfume bottles, usually it is quite unique and stand out of the other packaging but this bottle is simple and minimalistic, it emphasises on the simplicity and elegance of the fragrance and I love that everything is pink. The perfume has a mix of floral, musk and gourmand hints which is feminine and unique. The perfume lasts for 6-8 hours once sprayed which is just the way I like it. This is my new go to perfume.

Very quickly, though, it dives into the signature honey-gourmand territory: rich, warm, slightly sticky honey layered over softer florals (gardenia is often mentioned) and then settles into a patchouli/woody base. It’s bold. It’s sweet. It isn’t shy. The honey + citrus combo is distinctive. It gives the fragrance character and a “signature feel” It’s fun and bold. If you like gourmand fragrances (sweet, warm, catchy), you’ll likely get a lot of enjoyment from this one.

It’s vibrant yet smooth and smells absolutely divine. I’ve worn it during the day, but it’s definitely elegant enough for evening wear too. The fragrance lasts all day on my skin and the packaging feels so luxurious. The suede-like box is stunning and the bottle is super cute and compact, ideal for keeping in a handbag. This perfume is perfect, it is not to strong but enough that the smell stays for a long time with the minimum spray amount. It is quite a unique smell. The packaging is very smart and classy, modern and expensive looking. I think what you get for the money is excellent value. I get lots of compliments wearing this and would definitely recommend this to anyone.

The jasmine is more intense and sensual, and the salted caramel introduces a mouthwatering, addictive twist. The vanilla and amber dry-down is creamy and warm, giving the scent a more sophisticated finish than the original.

Raspberry comes through very strongly, and the orange blossom blends in to add to the fruitiness. This is a day off/ night out fragrance- I tried it one day whilst working and it felt weird- it’s a fun and super girly fragrance.

This smells really fresh and invigorating it's quite strong to begin with. It lingers on clothes for few hours I'd say. Smells great on bedding too if you like a nice smell to go to sleep with like me. Would definitely purchase again.
