Rated 5 out of 5 by from This flex tape works great! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was anxious to try this Flex Tape and I was impressed. I found it easy to unwrap and cut. I cut it before taking the film off. I used it to seal a couple spots around my basement window where I was getting water drips and I've had no issues since. It really grips well and tight. I also used it around my tub where the caulking was cracking and coming apart, and again it did the job perfectly. It is easy to use and holds up very well. I will be keeping this on hand at home because it will definitely come in very handy to use! It is good quality tape! I would definitely highly recommend this flex tape.

The tape is super strong and holds well. I can't express that enough. I've used it on multiple surfaces such as rubber hosing, plastics, and metal. I have used it on on my car, in my home, and at my work site and it has done more than its share to holding up and getting the job done!! I couldn't be more pleased with the performance of this product. It does exactly what it promises in every scenario. I even tested it underwater just see if it would still work like the package claims and I was shook that it did exactly that IT WORKS!!

I tried Flex Tape on a small leaky pipe underneath my bathroom sink, and the tape holds very well. Additionally, I used it to sover up a small hole on my water hose, and to this day, it continues to hold its shape well. Upon using the tape, I could tell that tape was going to be durable and long-lasting, as it stuck to my hands well. The tape is nice and wide to cover up and stick to just about anything around the house! It's very easy to use and decently sized with great value around the house, so I recommend this to anyone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flex Tape White [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Flex Tape in the white color, large 4" x 5' for the purpose of using to cover my air Conditioners side panels. I've used the grey color before and hated how it stood out. Because my one ac is in my kitchen, the white flex tape blended right into my kitchen. Covering the side panels with the white Flex tape, blended right into the side panels, making it look like the side panels weren't even there, very pleased, and very happy it doesn't look tacky. I will be purchasing more white Flex tape for future use. It holds really well. And the size of 4' x '5 is the perfect size to cover the acs side panels.

The tape is very thick but strong and flexible. It can be applied in any condition of weather, hot, cold wet or dry. The tape is very adhesive that can be used in any objects. My window got damaged during serveve weather and I couldn't find anyone to fix it in a short time limit. So I decided to use this tap to fix it temporarily and surprising it worked! It endured strong winds and heavily rain during hurricane last week and expecting a tropical storm coming. I'm so happy. Without it, I can't imagine how much damage it could happened.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It is very sticky [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried using this tape on a crack in a fountain/bird bath I own. This product claims to seal leaks and can be used in water so I wanted to put it to the test. It is really sticky to my skin but sadly didn't hold in the fountain. The tape didn't stick well to the surface of the fountain. When I filled the fountain back up the tape released and the fountain leaked again. I also tried it on a downspout we have that has a big crack in it. It stuck to the downspout and stopped the rain water from coming through the crack. I think this product is good for some uses but it didn't seem to live up to my expectations.

I tried this product on a pvc pipe that had a crack down the middle and although it slowed the leak down there was still water escaping from the seal. Also I have a pool and just to test the tape wanted to see if I could stick this to the pool wall under water and the piece of tape just floated away. This product is nothing more than really sticky electrical tape named differently. I am going to see if they will let me return what I have left because this product does not work no where near like the commercial sold it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flex Seal has saved me twice now! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Many years ago, I bought a can of Flex Seal just to have in my garage. Fast forward to a year ago, my water heater hose burst in my attic, spraying water EVERYWHERE at around 10pm, so every store was closed. Luckily I remembered I had bought the Flex Seal can. I turned off my water so the spraying would stop, sprayed the hose, let it dry, and IT WORKED. So I got Flex Tape for my garage, and while it hasn't saved me in any catastrophic event yet, it has saved me with minor air leaks of my pool floats! So it's already paid for itself in repairs. This is one of those "AS SEEN ON TV" products that is the real deal.

I first patched up my son's small pool and over the past 3 weeks it's held up stickiness and has not budged even with being under water . We also helped patch up a part of our leaf gutter and has yet to lose adhesivesness. It was a bit difficult to cut it , with it being so sticky I had to fight it but I did win and got it stuck down. I was also surprised by how little was on the roll, I did 2 small projects and I may have enough for 2 or 3 small projects or 1 big project. Overall the item does the job of being sticky and even sticking underwater.

I haven’t used it for a lot of the projects it lists, like roofing, but I did finally fix an air mattress after many years of leaks and it’s holding up nicely! The only issue I have is that it is very sticky which is great for hold but not great when it gets all over your scissors and then sticks them together. I still need to figure out how to cut it without leaving a ton of residue. I also used it to fix glass on an Apple remote and it is holding beautifully. It works so much better than duct tape, looks better, and feels better too.

This tape can patch, bond, seal and repair virtually everything. Because of its flexible and rubberized backing, it can conform to any shape or object. It also can be applied hot or cold, wet or dry even underwater. It seals out water, air and moisture. I've applied this tape to a hole in my tent to great effect. I also had two small BB gun holes in a window in my basement - I applied this tape as a temporary measure until I'm able to repair the window. The tape stops the elements from coming in.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great but very, very sticky [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m impressed with how well this works and how it has held up. I used this to repair our leaky sink and so far it is doing great. Beware though, it is extremely sticky. It will stick to everything and anything, including your hands. Do not use a knife or scissors to cut through it otherwise you won’t be able to get it off. Use a razor blade instead. For easiest use, remove the cover to the sticky side slowly and piece by piece, and it would also be helpful to have an extra set of hands. Although it has worked great for me, I think I would love this way more if it came in pre-cut strips, just to avoid the hassle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first encounter with Flex Seal- Flex Tape, this role is 4*5 inch, comes with instructions, very useful on all the materials ,now come to the point i have a backyard where tap which connected with water hose is quite old and when you open tap for watering plants it leaks water quite a lot so i applied this tape on the connection of joint, this is very sticky so working with it is pain,but no pain no gain so next when i water my garden ,to my surprise this tape holds its ground so well that not a drop of water leaked, i am very happy and impressed, will tell my friends to give it a try.Thanks Flex Seal.

We have an above ground pool and a little cut in the bottom of the liner. Of course it’s underwater and didn’t want to have to drain it. We have tried special glue tape made for pools but nothing would really stick. Until I decided to try the flex tape. Just cut a piece larger than the cut in the liner, went underwater and put it on the hole. Smoothed out everything and put a weight on it. It’s been a week and the tape is still where it’s suppose to be. I’m so happy I gave this a try. Can’t wait to start fixing other things, this tape makes it so easy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great to have on hand for emergencies [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this to partner with my can of Flex Seal Liquid Black so that I am covered for any emergency that may arise. My first use of the tape just happened and I am quite satisfied with the results. Discovered my cat claws at my door weather stripping as a way to get me to let him in from the back porch. Rather than replace the entire weather stripping, I just covered the torn up area with this white flex tape. The tape is heavy duty and stuck very well and because it is rubberized, I don't think my cat will tear it up as easily as the foam stripping. I can see where this tape will come in handy for future problems.

Thick adhesive clings to the surface and can be used on dry or wet surfaces.FLEX TAPE is specially formulated with a thick, flexible, rubberized backing that conforms to any shape or object! i used it on my kids little pool ..it had a hole in it and wasnt holding any water.. it adhered quickly and they were able to swim again.. it Is mildew and UV resistant, paintable, solvent free too. so it can work on most any surface.. i used it on our garden hose which had a small leak . worked great on that too! love this product .. would definitely recommend it

I had problems with a part of my dishwasher pipe. There was a water leak and this tape was a great emergency solution while we were repairing the problem, it was adhered very well and stopped dripping water. I also used this tape to patch some holes in my children's pool and worked perfectly. The tape is very easy to use, you can cut it with some good scissors. Flex tape is very versatile, you can use it to repair a lot of things. I strongly recommend it

I highly suggest not using dull scissors to cut the tape. My kids little plastic basketball hoop is adjustable, but the adjuster broke and my kids asked me to fix it so it would stay at the taller wetting. I wasn't sure how I could fix it, so I tried the Flex Tape, and to my surprise, it worked! It was the perfect solution since the hoop is outside and the tape is waterproof. I also used it to patch a raft for our backyard swimming pool. It seems there isn't much this tape can't repair.

I have an older bathtub with some cracks in it that needs to be replaced, I've been searching for a fix to stop the leaks everytime it's in use and Flex Tape did the job! Before hand everytime the bathtub was in use it would leak below to my washer leaving small puddles on top of it, since putting the Flex Tape onto the cracks I haven't seen not a single drop of water where it dosen't belong! The Flex Tape has an incredible sticky bond that hasn't worn or came undone since covering the cracks!

We were amazed at how strong it is. It even sticks under water,which is amazing. We sealed up holes in our pool floats, which we assumed we would have to dispose of and replace. Because Flex Tape it clear, they repair was undetectable. I consider that a great savings, to not have to replace all those pool floats. Flex Tape stands up to extreme weather conditions, it is so easy to apply, and it truly forms a secure seal. We will be purchasing more products from Flex Tape!

The product worked and certainly adhered to the surface to prevent air from leaking. One note: make sure that you peel up the backing with the initial tape that you use- the beginning of the backing was firmly attached to the roll, so I didn't realize that it didn't lift up with the Flex Tape. This made the tape very difficult to cut with scissors and left quite a bit of sticky residue on the scissors that had to be removed. Other than user error, the product seems like it will be very useful going forward.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made sure to read the directions on this tape as I was unfamiliar with it and what exactly I could use it on. There is a little crack in our drywall next to our bathtub towards the bottom of our floor. I used scissors to cut a small piece of tape. It is super sticky and thick. I applied the tape to the crack. It was easy to apply and so far it has kept water out of the crack. I would say this tape is definitely good for sealing things. The only thing I did not like is the thickness. I wish is was just a little less thick as dirt has collected on the top of the tape.

I used it to help fix a minor leak under my kitchen sink. The tape held very well as its very sticky! I was very impressed. It was easy to cut to the size I needed and easy to apply (although since the tape is very sticky make sure you apply it correctly the first time as its difficult to get off if you place it wrong). I liked the clear color as I was able to use it on other projects without it showing. This is definitely great for temporary fixes throughout your home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from a cracked shower pan, I had a shower pan that was cracked and caulked but leaked anyway. it was bad. to replace it would have cost hundreds of dollars and a lot of work and if i had to hire it out it would have been a thousand dollars or more. I took sheet metal and used flex paste adhesive/glue. i put a patch over the cracked area. after it dried i used seal tape, and then took the flex seal spray and went over everything. i used almond and it matched up OK. so far it has been a few months and it looks great and most of all i don't feel like I'm going to fall through and now it does not leak. I am very satisfied with flex seal products.

We had a leak in the gutter above our back patio door in which I was going to use typical caulking to fix the leak. Caulking is messy and does not always bond well, especially with water involved. I used flex tape instead and will never go back to caulking again. The low profile and extreme bonding (with damp gutter surface) makes the job quicker, sleek, and effortless. The instructions are very easy to follow. I will be sure to keep flex tape on hand at all times for the many uses it has to make life easier around the house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed something for my pool along with a few other things in the house that needed a good seal. This FLEX tape definitely did the trick! I have used several pool patches for my liner. With no avail! I then heard great things about FLEX tape and decided what could it hurt. I am pleased with the outcome after applying to the cracks in my pool liner. Mind you it was wet and I used the FLEX tape, it stuck immediately no messing with it or having to press for a long period. Just placed on did a little slide over and boom done. Filled the pool and have had no leaks whatsoever! I am very pleased and definitely recommend.

It has so many uses, is waterproof, and has a super strong hold. If you’re stranded on an island and can bring one thing - well it’s either a knife or Flex Tape. My only complaint is that this is not removable, once you stick it on something it needs to stay there. Inside the roll it tells you “not intended to remove cleanly”, so if you take it off there will be a residue or it will also remove a layer of whatever you stuck it to. So just keep in mind that it’s not really a “temporary” use. Other than that this is an amazing tool to keep handy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rubber seal on one door of our refrigerator broke loose and we found out the only way to have it repaired was to replace the entire door. I had done a temporary fix using scotch tape to attach it back in place. This wasn't a tight seal so we had problems with the ice maker clogging from time to time. I removed the scotch tape, cleaned the gasket and applied the FLEX TAPE which is not only holding the gasket perfectly in place, but it seals the door just like the original gasket as well, no more problems with the ice sticking together since then. A perfect fix at a fraction of the cost of replacing the entire door.

I have a rent house that had a leak by a vent on the roof, caused by all the floods and storms that we have had in TX. My bright idea was to use the tape for the vent around the outside of the pipe where it meets the roof. Best idea ever! The tape is definitely waterproof, it has held through the rest of the storms, it saved the roof and me from having to repair it immediately during the storms. If you're on the fence about buying this tape, BUY IT. You won't regret it! I'm going to keep a roll at all times for emergencies. Thank you Flex Seal!
