Efficient and essential, the Giantz Submersible Water Pump 1800W is the perfect solution for draining flooded areas, emptying pools, water tanks, and spas. It is equipped with a fully submersible design (maximum depth of 8m) and highly efficient 1800W motor that can create a maximum head of 12.5m and quickly clears the water at a class-leading rate of 24,000litres/hr. Moreover, it has a multi-outlet fitting to suit up to three different pipe sizes, made from durable stainless steel, and sealed water tight. For added safety, it features a thermal overload protection to prevent damage and automatically turns off when critical operating temperature is breached.

Absolute Beast of a Pump – Exceptional Power
I purchased the Giantz 1800W Submersible Water Pump to handle some serious water clearing around my property, and it has absolutely delivered on power. Right out of the box, the build quality feels incredibly solid. The stainless steel body gives it a rugged, durable feel that you want from a tool that spends its life submerged in water.

Good little pump. Emptied out my pool. Not the best quality stainless but not too expensive. For the cost was good

Kiaora, what is the minimum depth submersion in water? & what is the unit's width at the base? as I need to drain rain flooded outdoor yard from a 20cm hole opening. also can the unit be used without the automatic float switch?
Thanks for your question Oggi. No minimum submersion depth has been provided by supplier, however, it has a maximum depth of 8m with an adjustable float switch to suit different water levels, and an automatic on/off switch to prevent run dry. Trust this helps! ^CO

It is not recommended for use with Sand Water-what is sand water? Also, I would like to use it in a cesspit where sand granules occasionally get in-is this OK? I have already ordered one & will still use it in other situations if necessary.
Thanks for your question Richard. Sand water is any type of water that has sand in it including Cesspit. Any sand granules or corrosive material will wear away at the parts. Trust this helps!
