Is it heat resistant, treated?

Hi Maree, the table is constructed from American Oak, Pine, and MDF. It is not heat resistant. We suggest using place matts, coasters and a heat resistant matts if you are placing hot dishes, like casseroles dishes, on the table. We trust this helps with your query
