Undeniably Beautiful
Delivered yesterday and it is undeniably absolutely beautiful. Note when buying this table it weighs an absolute tonne. The drivers told me it weighed 80kg and it felt like it too. You need two very strong people to lift. Advised by the shop assistant to put table face down on the floor and attach the stand that way, a bit awkward to tighten the bolts but will save your back in long run and so much easier to put it the right way up when done.

Perfect apartment table.
I bought this yesterday for my apartment...delivered today. Thrilled with it! It blends in with my mahogany furniture perfectly and looks great. It is so easy to extend and doesn't take up much space when not extended, love the shape.
Excellent care by Harvey Norman staff and delivery boys great.

Furniture may take up to 8 weeks to deliver as most products are made specifically for your order. Some Customer Direct products are shipped from overseas and may take longer to arrive. Hi there. The table comes unassembled in two pieces. The top and the base. The mechanism on the tabletop is already assembled. The top will need to be put on top of the base. This is a two-person job as the tabletop is heavy. There are instructions in the box on how to attach the tabletop to the base. we trust this helps with your query

How to lock the table from extending? I have tried the knob provided under the table but still rotates.. is there a manual
Thanks for your question. Yes, there is a lever under the table which can be rotated clockwise to prevent the table from expanding and keep the small size, or counter-clockwise to allow for movement and opening. We will have the manual added to the page as well. Trust this helps! ^CO

how do you keep the surface protected from heat, scratching etc.
