The unique design with laminated wood yoke and construction frames made of solid steel ensure unquestionable comfort, stability and long-lasting quality. The steel frames are covered with high-resilience cold-cure moulded foam.

- 360 Swivel: With a very smooth 360-degree swivel one can easily rotate the chair in either direction while seated. IMG's swivel mechanism offers effortless movement and unsurpassed stability.
- Flexible Comfort: Enjoy enhanced relaxation, as the Freya Recliner features a Flexi Headrest that you can adjust back and forth to perfectly support your head.
- Freestanding Footstool: A freestanding footstool offers a comfortable and practical solution for foot and leg support. It can easily be moved and used as an extra seating place. The freestanding footstool features an angled top for enhanced leg support and better blood circulation.
- Reclining: With a frictionless reclining mechanism, one can adjust the backrest angle by simply applying your body weight. A tension adjustment knob varies the friction on the reclining mechanism and is located underneath the seat.

Don't wait, this is The One!
Our 80+ yr old, 5ft Mum tried many other recliners in the store before she fell in love with the Freya, as did we! It's sturdy, has the best support, and padding in all the right places, the comfort as you sit is immediate and you're in no hurry to leave. Mum spends a lot of time relaxing daily on her Freya either reading or dozing, resting her legs comfortably on the well-designed footstool. The release mechanism is easy for her to use, a simple twist either way, and minimal effort is needed to recline the chair. I cannot express just how much she loves this recliner, and we also use it if we're quick enough!

Delivery

Easy returns
If you feel your product has failed a Consumer Guarantee (as defined by New Zealand Consumer Law) then don't worry you can easily return it to your local Harvey Norman store. We'll even pay for the postage if you live in an area where there is no store. Our returns policy covers any purchased item ( conditions apply).

Can the swivel be locked?
Great question Andrea! While this does feature a swivel base, it does not have a swivel-lock feature. We sadly do not have any within our range with this feature currently. ^CO
