This chair provides so many features: rises to stand up position: recliners back to lovely position; is almost silent in its mechanism: has low arms allowing for ease of rising and ease of meal tray if wanting meal in front of TV. It is elegant, not bulky, is firm and supportive, yet so comfortable. I cannot say more about this wonderful purchase. I protected it with the product advised by HN

What is the mechanism for raising the chair? Do you push back and power somehow assists? Is there a keypad or remote? Also, in normal upright position, what is theheight from the floor to the seat? Many thanks.

Hi there. The chair has a power control that is attached to the chair by a cord. It has two buttons. One to recline and the other to return to sitting position and to lift if need be. When in the upright position, the chair seat height is 480mm from the floor. We trust this helps with your query

How to lift foot rest without reclining chai back

Hi there. The footrest can be raised slightly before the back reclines. The footrest does not operate independently form the back, meaning it will lay the back down as the footrest raises. We trust this helps with your query
