Improved, but not particularly innovative.
The Nintendo Switch 2 is a refined but incremental upgrade over the original. It features a larger, brighter screen, better performance, and magnetically attached Joy-Cons for a more secure and convenient experience. A second USB-C port improves tabletop play, and new online features like GameChat enhance social gaming.
However, its battery life is short (~2 hours in heavy use), and it's priced higher than the original, it’s a solid choice for those seeking a better handheld experience, but not a must-buy for everyone.
Verdict: A polished upgrade with practical improvements, but not revolutionary.

Pros
Bigger screen
1080p resolution vs 720p resolution of oled switch
Games load much faster and run better
Compatible with most old switch games
Better controls due to slightly bigger thumbsticks and buttons
Has 2 usb ports
Gamechat function
Mario kart world :)

Cons
Battery life. Playing zelda, battery lasts for about 2 and a half hours. Not bad really but my switch oled lasts a bit longer. Using a powerbank helps extend the battery life.

Don’t listen to the haters
Switch2 is a solid offering from Nintendo. The new hardware specs sets up the scene for the next few years of portable gaming. Backwards compatibility is seamless and brings new life to your existing library of games. Compared to steam deck and other windows based portable consoles the switch2 is cheaper, has slimmer sleeker hardware and an overall better pickup and play experience. Looking forward to new titles and ports to come. Bring on Halo and flight simulator!

It’s a Switch Pro
Bigger screen. Sturdier controllers. More horsepower. Better graphics (on select games). If you want a Switch and you want to have the shiny new thing or future proof for future games, this is a good choice.
The new Mario Kart is pretty fun, but there’s a bizarre game design decision to spend most time driving between courses, rather than on courses. But it’s Mario Kart, so always fun.

Fun times!
Bought this for the family, we had never owned any other gaming console and didn't want to risk buying the Switch 1 only for it to become outdated. Got this and Mario Kart is a massive hit. The console runs well and is easy to set up, the price is quite extreme but it was a good gift for all of us. Now if only I could return the regress of a game that is Mario Party Jamboree TV

Fantastic product for a competitive price. Much smoother system than switch 1. Magnetic connectors for controllers works so much better. Awesome that switch one games are backwards compatible. Easy pick up with click and collect service. Console works well only fault is battery life could last a bit longer, but would not wanna sacrifice performance. Over all good purchase.

A worthy successor to the Switch
A worthy update to the original Switch concept. The migration process from Switch to Switch2 was straight forward. There is much better support for titles with more detailed graphics, such as Fast Fusion. Both Zelada TOTK and BOTW look better and respond better to the controls. It's too early to pass judgement on Mario Kart World.

Gift purchase
Easy purchase, console is in new condition as expected. Only con would be that I had order online for collection and when I picked up purchase, I was informed that if I had brought this in store, I would have received a gift card. Please learn from my misfortune and buy in store for extra credit.
