Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for PC gaming, not so much Xbox gaming. The design of these headphones are great, and the comfort and fit are excellent. In wireless mode, which I use with PC/Mac, they sounded great, the "mute on lift" (lifting the mic boom up to mute) is an excellent function, and battery life is brilliant too. Only issue I've had in wireless mode, is the volume and game/chat controls are both on the same side, and when on your head feel the same, so a bit awkward to adjust. In wired mode (which you have to use with an Xbox One) you are limited by the cabled connection and lose a lot of the standout functions. Without those functions (wireless, lift to mute, even the volume and game/chat dials become redundant) these headphones lose their appeal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for Gaming This is my first JBL Headset and my first experience using JBL, upon first expressions they look very nice and stylish and quite straight forward to use, I use them with my PS4, Live, Daily. I like how lightweight they are and they look expensive, I like how all the features are in simple places for you to find whilst wearing the headset and how the mic mutes when you fold it inwards, this is handy to keep the headset on but not be heard when your live without having to do much. I would highly recommend these to gamers who go live a lot as they are comfortable and easy to use and look nice and for the price in comparison to other headsets of a similar price these seem to be the best set ive used.

Why not expand on this device to connect with consoles? Why not have the ability for the microphone to be rotated to the right side and left side? Why did the buttons feel low quality? With that said even with those issues I felt this was a really good headset. Upon opening the box in the visual presentation of the item and box was really nice. Once I removed the headset and tried it on headphones were comfortable and secured around my ears. Upon connecting it to my Xbox I had to use the cord which was restricted by the cable length. The sound quality that I got was really good and was able to hear many different noises as I played war zone. The microphone worked very well in talking with my friends over the console. The headset comes with a wireless adapter to be connected to your computer to use the headset. The experience with the wireless adapter was just as good as playing with a cable connected to it. No disconnect issues with the wireless adapter nor any issues or loss of voice or sounds while connected with the cable or wirelessly. The battery life of the headset lasted over 8 hours on one charge of gameplay wirelessly. I would recommend headset for anyone looking for a value priced headset. Even though I believe the buttons were made low quality I would prefer JBL continue to increase the quality of sound and flexibility before worrying about cosmetic.

I have never owned any gaming headphones before and I was a little skeptical too. I always used the cheap headsets and just regular ones that came with my phone lol. I don't know why I never got gaming headphones earlier. Out of all the models I have to say this one rocks big time if you want to spend a little more dough for the best experience. The sound on these are amazing. I hear every little thing clearly. The sound technology in this headset is PERFECT. You won't regret these at all.

Highly Recommend [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a very serious gamer, and I was looking for some amazing, surround-sound headphones. When I bought the JBL QUANTUM 600's I knew I hit the nail on the head. First, the surround-sound, and the mic/audio which is amazing. next, the durability and comfort. Very durable for gaming headphones, and the comfort is great.. lastly, the features. First, let's talk about the surround-sound feature. When you put the JBL QUANTUM 600's on and start playing games with them, it's as if you are in a completely different world. The JBL team did an amazing job on the surround-sound feature. it literally puts you into the world of the game you're playing. i play games like, Fortnite, COD series, Assassins creed, and Minecraft. I can't tell you how awesome these headphones are with gaming. The mic/audio is also amazing. The flip mic feature is amazing, and all it takes is an instant, and I have myself on mute. I stream my games on Discord/Youtube/Twitch.tv and my mic is very clear and I can be heard very well by my viewers. when i play with other people i hear them super clear, being that the sound quality is great. although i have problems with the certification on Discord, and the QUANTUM ENGINE, overall, great surround-sound and audio/mic. Next, the durability and comfort. The durability is very good for gaming headphones, being that i fondly switch to different consoles and PC's. The setup takes seconds, so these are the go-to durability headphones. The comfort is great. The cushioning around the ear makes the experience of the headphones amazing. although the headphones in general are a little heavy, the cushioning around the ear, and by the headband are very comfortable. Lastly, the features all around the JBL QUANTUM 600's. one of the best features, is the setting that lets you hear the chat over the game, or the game over the chat. Extremely useful. I am on discord a TON, and that setting is just great. Probably the icon of the JBL QUANTUM 600’s is the JBL QUANTUM ENGINE. Although I am still studying the JBL QUANTUM ENGINE, it is so far so awesome and it can adjust to the wearer's needs. Also, the discord certification. They work amazingly well with discord. The JBL QUANTUM 600’s have a certification on discord. However, it hasn't worked for me yet. Hopefully it will work for you. Amazing features overall. These are all the reasons why I think the JBL QUANTUM 600’s go above and beyond. for the surround sound, the durability and comfort, the discord certification, the QUANTUM ENGINE, and the all-around features. These are my best gaming headphones yet, and I highly recommend the JBL QUANTUM series.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Quality but missing some features [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: Very good quality. Sturdy, I don't think these will break or snap. I have put it through a stress test and it bends but does not break. The call quality on voice calls are amazing, and no complaints. Setting up was easy, just read the instructions. Sound is great on these. Can really hear the highs and lows. Cons: Missing Bluetooth? How, why, something so simple should be added to the headset. I am ok with a usb port, but it should be easier and have more options than this.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Mmmmmm Ok, so I've got a huge head and the 600s are quite uncomfortable for me. They are too tight, making them unsuitable for even medium periods of gaming. When not in use I leave them on a basketball to get a bit of stretch and that helps a little. The ear cups are a little bit small and my ears catch the inside The sound is okay but I was expecting better from JBL. It's a bet tricky getting the sound how I like it, probably because their are so many options. I love the balance volume feature for chat and game, They also look great, after trying them out for a few weeks though, I just don't know what to do with them anymore, I guess the 600s are just not suitable for me, which is a shame. If I had tried them in a store I wouldn't have purchased.

Can the Quantum 600 be used with a smart TV for watching films

Our JBL Quantum 600 works with PS5 via 2.4Ghz and 3.5mm connection. Please note that the features powered by JBL Quantum Engine (JBL Quantum Surround, RGB, EQ, Microphone settings, etc.) are only available on PC.

Our Quantum 600 has its own JBL Quantum SURROUND but it does not support DOLBY Atmos. The JBL QuantumSURROUND simulates stunning multi-channel audio to create an incredibly realistic spatial soundstage for cinematic levels of immersion while gaming.
