Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great performance but a bit large [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this with my 9 and 4 gear old girls. I held to my ear to listen as well to form this review. For context my older child is a bit smaller while I would consider the younger one average size. The fit is as slightly large for both children. The ear cup was large enough that it did not create a complete seal around either of their ears. This reduced the efficacy of the noise cancelling features. The sound however was excellent compared to other junior headphone options I have tried in the past. Bluetooth pairing was quick and easy. I appreciated that it came with an AUX cord as well making them a viable option for planes.

The level of Noise canceling Is at the right amount so kids can always hear outside voices when they need it also with the combination of 35mm plug and Bluetooth is perfect for long trips can connect to game consoles like Nintendo Switch and also a tv in the car !!!! JBL always makes great products and this one is not the exception !! Very good choice

The size is excellent for a range of head sizes (fits my 6 and 11 year old’s, and my wife’s heads great). The ANC works well and the pads are comfortable. Easy touch buttons are large enough and simple to use even for the kiddos. The 85db limit is nice to have as kids do not need to hear max level anything from a headphone or an IEM. The 50 hour battery life is a big plus! BT works perfect, and the audio cable is a nice touch to have these days. Overall I’m impressed with these.

We previously used JBL 600BTNC for his school Tablet and kids tablet at home JBL JR 470 has bigger ear cups and more fun colors with stickers. Headphone easily connect to other devices as well as 3.5mm audio cable in case forgot to charge the headphone. Appreciate the safe sound feature to protect kids year by limiting max volume as well listening time.

You can also have more control on the app. Equalizer, noise cancellation, you can even set a decibel limit. You can set a limit on how long you want them on for the day. More parental control features than you can imagine for some headphones. Yes they have a built in mic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Headphones for My Son! I bought the JBL Junior 470NC headphones for my 8-year-old son, and they’ve been fantastic! He loves the bright colors and says they’re super comfortable, even during long car rides or when he's playing videogames at home. The noise-cancelling feature works surprisingly well. I can focus on my work without being distracted by background noise from the videos he is watching, which is a big win for us. As a parent, I really appreciate the volume limit for safe listening. It gives me peace of mind knowing his ears are protected while he enjoys his music or videos, but he can still hear us in time of need. The battery life is so far impressive! We only need to charge them once every few days, even with regular use. Bluetooth connectivity was easy to set up, and he has no trouble using the controls on his own. The only minor downside is that they feel a bit snug for kids closer to the upper end of the age range, so if your child is around 13, they might feel a bit tight after extended use. Overall, these headphones are a great buy. Safe, durable, and perfect for kids. I’d highly recommend them to other parents!

Is AuraCast Bluetooth LE Audio supported?

Thank you for your question. Our JBL Junior 470NC does not support Auracast. You can connect your devices using standard Bluetooth and control the headphones with the JBL Headphones app.

Can I use this for my 2yo toddler?

Thanks for your question. Our JBL JR 470NC is designed for children ages 3 to 8 years old, so it may not be suitable for a 2-year-old toddler, as the fit could be too loose and may not provide a comfortable or secure experience.
