Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tune Beam 2 [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Tune Beam 2 are incredible! They fit in my ear very comfortably! The adaptive noise canceling feature works perfectly. I use them when I'm on a zoom meeting. It blocked the background noise. Personi-Fi 3.0 is unique feature that helps you customize the sound to your liking! The water and dust resistant comes in handy when working out. The sound is crisp and clear! Calls and music are great. The JBL Pure Bass makes it sound as if I'm next to a speaker in a club.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound and noise cancelling The JBL earbuds arrived nicely packaged. It was easy to connect them to my phone and start listening to music. The sound quality is really good and clean, and they are pretty loud (I still haven't dared to try them on max volume). The noise cancelling is also really good. I used them while travelling on a plane with screaming child in front of my and they did really good removing the noises. I found the battery lasting well as after 5 hour flight plus using them some more time in the airport they still had some battery left and I haven't had to charge the case often. Overall I think these are great earbuds for the price.

This set is MUCH improved from the older one. 1. These are sound proofing. It doesn't block out everything, but allows you to really only hear what would be necessary. 2. These are SOO much more comfortable. This set includes the rubber tips to create the perfect fit. My others didn't have the rubber tips. So it seals out so much more. 3. These are FAST charging. 4. This is a very lightweight set that definitely doesn't weigh on your ears. 5. These have fantastic sound. These are definitely a great upgrade if you happen to have older buds without the rubber tips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound and noise cancelation [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This review is for JBL Tune Beam 2, I have been using it for more then a week now, and I use a lot of JBL products, this one has a better noise cancelation then for example the Live flex, I was able to connect this easily to my Android phone, laptop, PC and Google TV It fit nice in my ear. the shape is different, so check photos to see if you like this type of shape. The sound quality is very good, JBL has a very good standard for sound quality and you can feel it in any product. Great for walking (with my dog) i do not run so not sure how that will fit, but you can always return if not a good fit.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Noise cancellation issues Just received these from the store. I was happy and they seemed nice. I have used them for a total of 20 minutes and already there's an issue. The noise cancelling doesn't work. It's almost 12.am and there is no noise outside plus I'm indoors. As I turn on the noise cancellation, the right earbud starts making a strong wind sound, as if a microphone is experiencing heaps of wind and it gets transferred to my earbud. The headphones volume is also effected by the sound, and I can hear a more pure sound coming through my left earbud. When I turn the noise cancellation off, I don't have any issues. Now I don't know if I got faulty earbuds or if it's an issue with the update, but it's disappointing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good The JBL Tune Beam 2 are excellent earbuds. I had the opportunity to try them alongside the JBL Endurance Race 2, and I preferred the Tune Beam 2 between the two. The noise reduction system is impressive and offers excellent isolation from external sounds. The sound quality is very good, and the app for adjusting settings is convenient and easy to use. However, I wasn't completely satisfied with the stability of the earbuds in the ear, as they often need to be readjusted. Additionally, I encountered a possible manufacturing defect: the left earbud doesn't always charge, and sometimes the earbuds connect to a device even when they are closed.

Very natural frequency response. The thing I really love about JBL headphones is the app, so much adjustability and ease of use. Comfortable fit once you find the appropriate tips for your ears. The only thing I’ve found slightly negative is the odd way they fit in the case. Not a deal breaker, just different. A big plus is the battery life, with normal listening I get a couple days out of a charge, more than double the life of my earbuds manufactured by the big fruit company!

Do the JBL Tune Beam 2 earbuds have automatic wind reduction in ANC mode?

Thanks for your question. Our JBL Tune Beam 2 does not have an automatic wind reduction feature in ANC mode. However, it does feature Adaptive Noise Cancelling, which allows you to adjust or completely tune out surrounding noise.

I just got the jbl tune beam 2 earbuds. I have followed the directions to the nth degree. These earbuds just do not block sound. I can hear everything around me. Putting cotton in my ears is as effective as the earbuds. What a waste of money.

I would try larger ear tips and trying to twist the earbuds themselves into your ear until you feel a slight suction effect.

What's the estimated decibel level for the ANC on the Tune Beam 2?

Thank you for your inquiry. While our headphones are designed to reduce everyday noise using the noise-canceling feature, we unfortunately do not have a specific decibel rating for the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). However, the frequency range for our JBL Tune Beam 2 is from 20 Hz to 20 kHz.

How does the ANC on the Tune Beam 2 compare to the Live Pro 2 and Live Beam 3?

Thank you for your question. Our JBL Live Pro 2 and JBL Live Beam 3 offer Active Noise Cancellation as well as Adaptive Noise Cancellation Features, whereas our JBL Tune Beam 2 features only Active Noise Cancellation. Active Noise Cancellation uses to reduces unwanted surrounding sounds by using microphones to detect external noise and then producing an "anti-noise" sound wave that is exactly out of phase with the original sound. Meanwhile, Adaptive Noise Cancellation is a more advanced form of ANC that uses microphones and sensors to evaluate ambient noise in real-time and automatically modify the anti-noise signal to match with the evolving surroundings.
