So that's what things really sound like...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first pair of Sennheiser headphones I've owned after hearing numerous audio people discuss them. I was not let down on the audio expectations. The sound was a huge difference from any prior headphones I've tried and made me realize just how bad some others sounded. The overall comfort I am mixed on. The ear pads are super soft and fit co.fortably.on my smaller ears. I will say they are a little awkward with glasses on if you have to adjust your glasses and it does push them in a bit. The weight is a little more than I expected and will slide down over time but I am comfortable enough wearing them all day at work.

Underwhelming
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These aren’t exactly what I was expecting. They’re not bad. They’re pretty good actually. The sound is decent. They’re comfortable to wear but they have two major drawbacks. First they’re wired all my headphones/earbuds are wireless. Secondly when I plugged them in the sound was down so at first I was confused because I couldn’t find a volume switch anywhere. Until I clicked the home button on my controller and manually adjusted the volume that way. I can’t say they’re bad but they’re not better than the wireless Xbox headset I currently use.

Very comfortable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These headphones are probably the most comfortable headphones I’ve worn yet, they are very soft and adjust just perfectly to fit. I wish I could give it 5 stars and I would if it was Bluetooth capable. You cannot use these without the cord - so pretty much the only thing you can use them for is gaming since phones do not have that cord input anymore. The sound is amazing; very clear and precise and would love to be able to use them to listen to music while doing yard work. There is no battery, like I said, they have a cord attached.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great pair of headphones that don't leave your house as the opened backs aren't suitable for wearing on the bus or anywhere with background noise. I wanted a headset that would be good for music, gaming, voice calls, and movies, but not have a built-in microphone because I would use a standalone mic of my choosing. If you plan to buy a boom mic along with these, be sure to buy a 3.5mm female to 2.5mm male adapter too. They also have a good fit for my head without much pressure in any one area and are quite lightweight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had a few Sennheiser headphones in the family over the years and they’ve always been solid, I was so happy to get the HD 550 open back recently. Price is def higher than your average headphones, but honestly worth it. The sound is super clear, comfy for long wear, and I can actually hear small details in songs I didn’t notice before. Feels like they’ll last for years just like the others we’ve owned. If you’re into good sound, these are worth looking at.

Excellent sound quality

The sound is incredibly crisp; footsteps, reloads, and ambient sounds come through with perfect clarity. The surround sound is immersive without being overwhelming.
