1Results from the Shokz Lab indicate that the OpenDots ONE withstood over 5000 of rigorous bending and twisting tests. The actual durability may vary depending on usage conditions, and we do not recommend overbending and folding the JointArc, as this may compromise fitting comfort as well as the performance of the nickel-titanium plate.

2The data was gathered at the Shokz Lab in a temperature-controlled environment of 25±2 °C, playing SBC-encoded audio at a 50% volume and all other features set to default. The actual battery life depends on the volume, sound source, degree of environmental interference, product features, use habits, and other factors.

3The quick charge data was gathered at the Shokz Lab. By default, if you place the earbuds in the charging case for 10 minutes, you can play SBC mode audio at 50% volume for 120 minutes. Quick charging requires the charging case to be in the green light prompt state. The actual battery life after charging is affected by volume, audio source, degree of environmental interference, product features, and use habits.

4Wireless charging does not support Quick Charge. When charging wirelessly, the case fully charges in approximately 4 hours. If the case has a silicone protective cover, wireless charging may take longer. Before charging, ensure the case is positioned in the centre of the wireless charger. If the case is not aligned properly, charging may fail.

5IP54 water-resistance only applies to the earbuds, and the charging case is not rated waterproof. OpenDots ONE was tested under controlled laboratory conditions and has a rating of IP54 under IEC standard 60529. Water-resistance is not a permanent condition, and resistance might decrease as a result of normal wear. Please do not submerge or expose OpenDots One for an extended period to water. Please do not attempt to charge a wet OpenDots ONE.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing but I absolutely love these headphones! But I have the same issue with these that I had with the last pair of shocks I bought. They randomly connect to my cell phone, even when in the charging case. I had them in my backpack overnight near my phone, so they were connected the whole light unbeknownst to me. When I arrived to the gym the next morning, they were completely dead, as were my previous pair. This is quite possibly the most frustrating part of owning this brand of headphone. If they could fix this one hiccup they would be the perfect pair of headphones. Other than this, they fit great, they sound and they are incredibly convenient. Love them.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I wanted them to be amazing but. . . . I really wanted these to be the most amazing headphones ever. The sound quality is absolutely incredible — truly one of the best parts about them. That said, they just don’t work well for me personally. I have very small ears, and the portion that sits in/near the ear feels a bit too big and doesn’t stay in place. The back also gets bumped pretty easily while I’m wearing them, which is distracting, and overall they feel heavier than expected. I’ve also had some issues with them disconnecting when not in use. If you don’t have tiny ears, these might be fantastic because the audio itself is amazing — but unfortunately, the fit and comfort just aren’t right for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great! Just needs a few firmware adjustments These are great! I previously had the Bose Open Ear Ultra Headphones, which are very similar. People say I sound more clear on phone calls with the Shokz. They are also much louder than the Bose, which is really important for me during workouts. As someone with small ears, they are slightly large, but not to the extent that the headphones are uncomfortable to wear. The sound quality could be slightly improved for a more "immersive" feel, and I would like to have more options for the control features. I would also prefer buttons over touch features. Otherwise, I love these! You can wear them with sunglasses with no issues!

The tapping; single, double and triple don't really work consistently. Dots sound better than the OpenRun Pro 2. However the buttons on the OpenRun Pro 2 are much better

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Honestly I did not expect Honestly I did not expect to like these as much as I do! I got the OpenFit 2+ at the same time and was fully expecting to keep those instead of the OpenDots, turned out the OpenFit rubbed against my ears more. The Dots are not only lighter and less noticeable, they also stay on really well. The only minor issue I have is that the sound does change a bit depending on how these sit on my ears, but once I got used to them it's easy to adjust and find the right spot. I will say your own anatomy matters so these may not fit everybody.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not compatible with long hair These are not as comfortable as my old Aftershokz bone conducting headphones. Those had some comfort issues, as well, but these are worse. They irritate the backs of my ears. It IS nice that they don't wrap around the back of my head and get tangled in my hair. However, I had to turn off the touch controls. My hair would "tap" and activate the controls as it moved (it's long and curly). So I can't take advantage of one of the ways to interface with the product. I also prefer the sound quality and better ability to hear ambient noise available in the bone conducting headphones over these.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not quite what I expected The fit is great. You can hardly even tell that they are there. Light. Stay in while running. The sound however isn’t the best. I’ve got the OpenRun and absolutely love them. They replaced my Powerbeats pro as my favorite running and everyday headphones. I have to keep adjusting them to get the sound right. The microphone needs work as well. Using these for phone calls, I almost always have to turn off the Bluetooth and use speakerphone. I was super excited about these. They look amazing, I get compliments all the time. I wish the rest were designed a bit better tho
