No more things sticking in my ears!
Bought these as a recommendation from a friend after my adorable frenchie decided to chew my old ear buds. These are so comfortable to wear and despite not sitting in your ear canal they are surprisingly stable and don’t move or flap around. I myself have trouble with a lot of earbuds as they don’t work too well with my ears but these have been absolutely fantastic. The sound and calls are good, not had any issues at all. They are not noise cancelling obviously so if that’s what you are looking for these aren’t for you but are fine if you’re not concerned about that. Highly recommended for people with ear bud issues like myself or people that don’t like things in their ears but find over the ear headphones too bulky. All in all great little earphones, glad I tried them!

Shocks Open Air Headphones: Great Sound with Open-Ear Comfort
I’ve been using the Shocks Open Air Headphones for a few weeks now, and while it took some time to get used to them, I’m really pleased with the results. Initially, they hurt my ears a bit, likely because I wear glasses, but now they’ve adjusted just fine. I love that I can hear my surroundings, and unlike bone conduction headphones, they don’t cause itching in my ears. The sound quality is awesome. My only minor complaint is the battery life – they don’t last as long as my previous bone conduction headset. However, the case doubles as a charger and can power them up in 10-15 minutes, which is perfect since I use them for over 10 hours a day.

Good overall but not for me
I purchased these for distance running. Overall sound quality was good and they were comfortable in the ears. For me personally, I like to only wear 1 earbud at a time. This is where the Openfit Air was not a good match. On each earbud you only have two options for controls (no actual buttons) with additional selections in the app. At no point can you have both volume up and down on a single earbud. On top of that the right was only compatible with up and the left only compatible with down. To adjust volume with only one earbud I had to pull out my phone. I returned these and would not purchase again unless this feature was available

Great product. Speaker version not for me.
Great product, comfortable, light. Sound is slightly muffled compared to the Open Air Mini but doing housework (anything other than vacuuming) the sound is pretty good. I don’t see how you can wear earplugs with these to maximize the sound like you would with the bone conduction version.
For me, I’m just not sure about these. Got them as an alternative to the Air mini bone conduction but these give vmcreate a complete shut out for me (like over the ear headphones do) and that is not my comfortable for me (it’s an auditory thing for me, not a product thing).
The app is way to download and use.

Ok not great
I wanted to love these but I don’t! The sound quality is good and I like that they sit around my ear, but the fit is loose and they fall off my ear easily. There is no way to adjust the fit and I have smaller ears. The tap does not always respond and you have to hit the earbuds in just the right place for them to respond which is frustrating when I trying to answer a call, turn up/down the volume or skip a song. Overall, they do their job but I would not purchase again without smaller ear hooks and a better response to “tapping. ” I should have gotten the OpenRuns, which I had previously and loved.

“Open-ear listening” is not for me
I feel like I can’t experience the music and bass as immersively as I do when I use earbuds that go inside my ear canal and seal with rubber. Therefore, I feel the need to turn the volume up on these “open-ear” earbuds, which causes the treble to hurt my ears, and the bass still doesn’t feel loud enough. I do appreciate that these earbuds stay put. I am holding onto them as back-up earbuds for that reason. I am still on the hunt for earbuds that go inside your ear canal and also stay in place when you move a lot.
The shape of the earbud also actually presses on the piece of cartilage just anterior to my ear canal when I wear an ear-warming headband or hat, which ends up hurting after a while.

So far so good!
I'm coming from 2 back to back pairs of bose open ear buds that both failed in less than their 1 year warranty. I've never used shokz and the differences between the different levels didn't mean anything to me so I opted for the cheapest type first. I've been using them for about a week and so far i really like them. Sound quality is good, battery lasts quite a while, no pain around my ears. They stay in and feel secure while I'm running. So far I'm really happy with them! Hoping they last longer than my bose but they also have a longer warranty and I appreciate the different price points.

Better than the regular OpenFit
The Airs are better than the regular OpenFit. The one downside is
with the app, there isn’t a fully customizable EQ mode that you can create yourself. That particular feature is reserved for the regular OpenFit. Please make that feature available to be open for Airs as well. This will allow for the sound to be even better because of the ability to customize the EQ options. Other than that, the design is so much better, particularly with it being angled into the ear. They also feel lighter. Good job but please fix the app. Also, one more thing. The touch and hold feature is not really helpful. It would be better if they are three tap options that could allow for three control options on the headphones .
