Game changing!
I am a big music listener, I have nice studio monitors and studio grade headphones, so I was skeptical about bone conducting headphones. I realize these serve a totally different purpose than hifi listening, but I still wasn’t sure how I’d feel.
A few weeks in, and I’m loving them! The sound quality is incredible, easily on par with in ears like AirPods and the like.
For working out, walking the dogs, or taking calls on the go, the open ear design is phenomenal. With earplugs in, the sound quality is even better and great for working in a noisy cafe or just trying to get some privacy.
Love these so far and can’t recommend them enough!

Original OpenRun was better
Pros - comfortable and stylish. Charge seems to last long, probably around 20 hours of use before it needs a charge.
Cons - Not bone conduction like previous model I owned. Seems to be more like small speakers near my ears. This doesn’t work the same for me as previous models did because of a hearing loss. Cannot use in shower, sound is terrible if they are damp at all. This was the main reason I purchased a third pair of shokz/aftershokz. This was very disappointing and considering returning for another model. Really wanted to get behind what was marketed as the flagship model of a brand I’ve loved for years but this model isn’t the same for me.

Best Bone Conduction Headphones I've Used
Hands down these are the best bone conduction headphones I have worn. The sound is awesome and clear even at high volume levels. Although I haven't had to use it yet, the volume boost is a great have. In my case, I work in the dog intake and housing area of a shelter and the normal top level was loud enough that I didn't need the boost, even in the presence of constantly barking dogs. They are comfortable enough to be worn all day. I also have a silicone allergy and I can say that I haven't had any adverse effects anywhere the headphones have contacted my skin; this is likely due to the lotions I use creating a barrier but nonetheless I have been able to wear them without irritation.

Ok Overall - could be better
This is my second pair of bone connection Shokz. The first pair stopped working for some reason after about 2 years. Then I bought Shokz air, but lost the charger case and you cant get another one. So I bought pro 2. It has a USB-C which is great to avoid multiple cord issues, especially on trips.
Cons: max volume is too low, not always an issue, but it was hard to hear some audio books and could not really rock out while hitting tennis balls. Bass could be better. Can mold bend the set to fit your head/ears. It should be made out of rigid but moldable material, like a metal coat hanger type of rigidity.
Pros: Light. Comfortable. Charging USB-C.

Finally Upgraded from Aeroplex
Great sound overall. The new technology delivers as promised. These headphones still give you the ability to have situational awareness while running. The bone conduction mode is decent but pales in comparison to bass boost.
If you’re considering upgrading now is the time.
One thing I will miss is the soft voice that was on the aeroplex. The beeps are kind of annoying IMO. Small gripe and totally subjective.
Please understand when you buy these that these headphones aren’t designed to give great sound if you’re doing something like mowing your yard. I tried it. Didn’t work. LOL
Great product, great brand, great warranty, customer for life.

A nice upgrade.
After using my open run pro for a long time at work, so I can listen to music and hear people around me. These are a fantastic update. Can hear my music much better Wherever the sound buds are located. I do miss the magnetic quick connect charger. But I understand why it's missing. So they lose a little bit of user friendliness, where you have to be a little more careful to charge them. But It does open up a wide range of charging solutions and you don't have to carry the quick connect cable with you everywhere you go. The extended battery life is also really nice. I can listen All Day. Come home and not have an issue of running out of battery power.

Open Run Pro 2
These headphones offer an exceptional listening experience without the need to insert traditional earbuds, allowing you to enjoy music and other audio content while remaining aware of your surroundings. For those seeking a more immersive experience, simply adding earplugs enhances the audio without compromising quality.
Ideal for travel and business trips, these headphones have become an indispensable part of my daily routine. I utilize them at work for answering phone calls, listening to music and podcasts, and even during workouts at the gym. Their versatility and performance make them a remarkable product that I highly recommend.

Needs Bass (and not the fish kind)
I have the open run 2. . . awesome!
I like how they feel. I am glad I bought the smaller headphones. I wear high collars when it's cold. I don't have much of a problem with the loop around my neck hitting or catching on things. My old headphones were broken from getting caught on things in my garage. The amount of time it takes to bring to a full charge and how long the charge lasts is amazing. Super happy about that!
I like the sound. It's lacking a little in bass.
I was not offered the drawstring bag. I could have used that. I ride motorcycles with a backpack. The drawstring bag would be way more useful due to the compact ability.
