Does the job
I’ve been using these for a few weeks now, mostly for running and gym. They’re comfortable. Sound is ok. I like that they read me my messages. The hand gestures are frustrating as they don’t always work and there aren’t any buttons that can be pressed when gestures aren’t responding. It’s also not possible to change the set functionality of the gestures beyond “playback” or “adaptive control”. E.g. one of the options in adaptive control is empty and it’s not possible to edit it to give it a function. The noise cancelling and hear through aren’t as good as my previous non-Sony headphones. The case is a bit bulky for carrying on an extra long run for topping up charge if needed.

Good not great
Bought this a few months ago. The fit is great, the noise cancelling and ambient sound features are good but using them outside in the wind is impossible as all you hear is the microphones picking up the wind sound.
This is surprising as the WH-1000XM4 has the ability to cancel wind noise.

Having used these now for several months, I am impressed with the quality of the sound and the ease of use. They really deliver amazing sound quality for their size. The noise cancelling feature is also handy.
