Ive had each generation since the xm3's the sound quality is far the best its been the only gribe is the comfort level it seems to have gone down and are alot firmer to the head and at times feel loose but i cant complain about anything truly and battery life is yet again amazing.

Excellent headphones, with strong noise canceling and exceptional sound quality. I recently traveled and the headphones allowed me to sleep on a noisy plane, by canceling out the worst of the noise. While expensive, you get your moneys worth
