Rated 2 out of 5 by from A+ with caveat I bought the headphone more than a month ago and these are my thoughts in relation to the device’s performance. Solid battery life, good sound, useful app. My only issues are: * A lack of USB-C audio playback which is something most other competitors include by default. Can this be enabled via a firmware update? * The other thing that i would advise any apple users is that the LDAC capability is sadly lacking when used with apple products. This means that wireless peformance in terms of audio quality shall remain mediocre until such time as something is done to resolve this issue. From a critical listening viewpoint, these issues are deal breakers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best yet! Sony have done an excellent job developing this noise cancelling headphone. I purchased my pair around 6 weeks ago and have used them extensively on planes, trains and buses as well as for personal listening in quiet spaces. I have owned four other noise cancelling headphones including Sony WM2's, Sennheiser PMC 550s, 1More Sonoflow and some Soundcores. While all the others were good these new Sony's are excellent and tick all the boxes. Folding, comfortable, excellent ANC, long battery, great microphones and great sounding. Yes the bass is on the "bit heavy" side but it can be dialed back with the equalizer in the app. Who doesn't like a bit of extra bass sometimes anyway😁

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Its alright Low rating due to the worst service from Sony. Have been using Sony products for a while, the XM6 itself is a good product but not worth the current price tag. Sound is great, ANC is great, features also great, comfort is subjective, I personally found the XM5 more comfortable. I received a faulty pair of XM6, the right ear cup and hinge would make a loud creak noise everytime I unfolded them and folded them to put them back in the case. I filmed this and emailed Sony, 3 emails later. No reply, online chat, no reply eventually after numerous phone calls managed to get them returned for a replacement, and suprise no stock left. So this took 20 days to even simply return the headphones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb sound If you’re looking for noise cancelling headphones with the best ANC there is, then I’d go for the XM6’s and never look back. This is coming from someone who’s made the jump from having XM2’s - which are still working but due for an upgrade. All the feature updates on the sound connect app really take the cake when it comes to exploring every bit of what the headphones have to offer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Feels cheap It's a ok headset but it feels VERY cheap for such a expensive device. The plastic is a Grom and oil magnet which looks and feels so cheap. You should have used alloy like the Bose Quiet Comfort headset . Seriously this thing feels so cheap that I don't want to wear it in public.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome & comfy I bought this headset and I’m very happy with it! The best thing is the comfort when wearing it; it doesn’t get hot or hurt my ears like the XM3 I had before. I can wear it for hours without discomfort. The sound quality still has the warm tone and bass characteristic of Sony, but it seems to have been refined for better separation. Though I’m not an audio expert, I find it amazing, especially for the comfort and the XM3-like sound, which is hard to find in other headsets. Definitely 5 stars!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great features Excellent Headphones with great features. 10 band EQ is unmatched. Sound is base heavy but if you are one of those who like base than it is for you. If I was designing the next Sony product, I will imitate it best the looks similar to Bowers and Wilkins Px7 S3 and they sound great. But, the light weight of Sony and noise cancelling is unmatched and the best in class. So if you are a frequent traveller or use the headphones for long hours, don’t look around and GO SONY hands down.
