I went on a bit of a buying spree for a year trying and selling or returning all of the high end earbuds available and the AZ100s came out on the top of the pile by a wide margin. I was a fan of the AZ80s when I had those and these have just refined and perfected them. I do use them with a a Harman tuning autoEQ which does change their sound quite a bit. The default "direct" tuning has muffled, muddy treble unfortunately but if you're willing to EQ them I don't think there's a better sounding earbud on the market right now. On top of that they nail everything else in terms of features and useablility.

Sound is amazing though the Technics audio connect app. If you like your bass then these are the buds for you. With the presets within the graphic are good. Even better is you also get 3 custom settings with an 8 band graphic to adjust to your liking which get saved every time you make an adjustment. Like many of us it’s hard to make that right choice to replace earbuds. But I’m so glad I chose these and I made the right decision. You will not be disappointed. They look stylish as I have the silver buds. They are easy to use and again you can custom what each bud can do within the app.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 5 Star Sound! Cass leading all rounder! My first set of Technics Earbuds and these won't be my last. A proper convert. The difference in sound between these and many other buds I've had is night and day. Functionality and the app are on point and high end. Multi-point is working great with no drop outs. More importantly for me the noise cancelling is almost class leading, especially for an earbuds that has physical challenges for seal. They are smaller footprint than the AZ80s and that also helps. Look forward to trying more headphones in the future from this high end audio brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Setting new standards. I struggle to get earphones that fit comfortably and actually stay in my ears. Somehow, these do both. The sound quality is excellent and I like the EQ settings on the app. Nice that you are able to make three different EQ settings depending on what you’re listening to without having to change the settings you’ve made. Yes, expensive, but if you want to hear everything in the song/music then these will give you a listening experience unlike any other earbuds I’ve had before. I’m a big fan of Bose but these are head and shoulders above them. If you can afford them, well worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound and comfort I've had these earphones for a couple of weeks now and I'm really happy with the sound quality and fit. There's a good choice of ear tip sizes to choose, xtra small, small, medium, medium large and large to make sure you get the right seal in your ears, the correct fit really helps make sure the sound and anc are at their best. The anc performs really well at blocking out external noises but where they really shine is in the sound, there's a really nice bass for something so small with nice separation and a wide sound stage. There's also plenty of EQ settings as well as 3 custom settings so you can tune the sound to suit your preference or styles of music. There's Dolby atmos and spatial audio and the battery life is exceptional at 10 hours playtime before they need a charge. They are so comfortable using them for hours at a time that I hardly notice they are there. I'm really pleased I chose the Technics AZ100, my search for earphones is now complete.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nearly perfect in all use cases I bought these to replace a set of pixel bud pro's that got lost somewhere on a trip to Belfast. The sound quality is outstanding and I've got them linked to my phone, an Austell and Kern SR45 and my work laptop and they are excellent for all the uses. I love the sound quality with Tidal, excellent bass, and for work calls in noisy environments the noise cancelling is really good. The app works and use far from the worst interface I've used.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An all round great experience I've always gone for mid priced earbuds unwilling to fork out for the high range priced earbuds and have always been quietly satisfied (products like Tozo). However, it has always left me curious as to what a high end priced set of earbuds would sound like. When I made the decision to finally purchase a pair, there were so many makes and models, so I decided to go for Technics purely due to the fact they have been around for decades and experience must count for something these days.. and it did. The case is sleek and looks and feels premium, the buds themselves feel solid and fit very well into my ear with plenty of different sizes to chose from straight out of the box. The most important aspect is sound and this is where Technics really shines. Out of the box they sound great, but when you download the technics app and tweak them with all the customisation available, then they really begin to shine and the experience is sensational. Hands down the best pair of buds I've owned. Sometimes you get what you pay for. You'll pay a lot more for these high end buds but you'll understand why when you use them and appreciate that it was money well spent.
