Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Speakers Except Lous Start/Close Sound I like these speakers and having a remote controller is very useful. The only thing I don't like is the very loud start and close down sound effects it makes. And I do mean loud! You cannot control the volume, regardless of whether you had it on mute prior. I note other reviews on other sites indicate this cannot be changed (controls nor driver). There is a work around, if you can access the back of the subwoofer, depending where you set it up. If you undplug the speakers from the subwoofer prior to start-up and close-down.it closes quietly. Otherwise the sound is intrusive. Apart from this issue, I really like these speakers.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from My Updated Review I still like these speakers, but there are some issues you would need to consider prior to purchase. 1. As mentioned ptreviously: The speakers give a very loud musical sound on activation and deactivation of the computer. You cannot control this with volume control nor speaker driver updates. This is a problem if you are working late at night as the sound of the speakers closing down is intrusive. Removing the speaker cords, prior to shutting down is the work around. Then reconnect these after. But this is an inconvenience, especially if your speaker locations make cord access difficult!. The 2nd issue is, that on some apps the speakers actually overrule your volume choice. On numerous occasions I have purposely changed my computer volume to low, and before my eyes the volume slider moves to mid-way, with a loud sound effect! So I repeat and it does the same move and sound at me. The only way I could lower the volume was to use the speaker remote control. BUT this is inconsistent as it does let me control some apps via the computer audio controls. The forced volume and chastising sound are intrusive late at night when low volume is needed. Although, I still like these seakers, they are a hassel, and I would NOT recommend purchasing them, unless you were prepared for these inconveniences. I don't know what Logitech were thinking!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value for money Speakers are easy to install and use. Just assembled together and worked immediately. Speakers have good volume and plays audio via bluetooth without glitches. The only thing i dont like is that it makes a loud noise when being connected/disconnected (cannot control volume for this). Otherwise, no issues to date after 1 month of use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Logitech Z407 Bluetooth Speakers Exactly what I was hoping for. Bluetooth connection is seamless. The speakers are clear and emersive. And the sub five out a beautiful deep booming bass. I've been a fan of Logitech for a long time, and I'm still very impressed.
