Good midrange and bass for a small speaker
A recent purchase to update the 1st generation. Much easier to connect to Bluetooth…a pleasant surprise! I hear a
more defined and articulate bass (I listen almost exclusively to Classical) so I know how much is dependent on the recording engineers but this speaker tries its best to compensate for what might be lacking.

Pocket size speaker with a big voice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little speaker sounds amazing. It’s dust proof and waterproof, floats and I like the hard wearing rubber finish as it’s so easy to wipe clean and keep the speaker looking pristine.
I found it small and light enough to easily carry in my coat or hoodie pockets.
Given its small size I was impressed at how punchy the base is topped with a really balanced sound overall.
By itself I’ve used the Flex gen 2 more as a personal speaker rather than in a group setting and rarely feel the need to turn it above 50%.
I’m not sure this speaker could hold down a party by itself but this is where the “party mode” function comes into its own turning your portable speakers into a system. If you own another Soundlink speaker like the Max or another Flex they can be linked with a simple button press. Both speakers then auto sync the audio together. I can’t stress enough just how well they compliment each other. A Soundlink Max and a Flex gen2 paired together in party mode took my audio experience to the next level.
Everything about this robust little speaker from the high quality, hard wearing materials to the crisp, clean sound it produces screams of the premium Bose quality we have all come to expect.

This speaker had the sound quality and flexibility I’ve been looking for. As a dad of 3 little ones that travels a lot we always need something light weight and compact to take with us as we enjoy music where ever we go. One thing I didn’t plan for was durability and the Soundlink Flex 2nd gen surely stood up to the abuse from the children throwing it around, falls, even juice and water spills. I loved that it didn’t take up a lot of space yet the sound quality was great. Even when we were outdoors in the parks and beaches it sounded great! We’ve found our new travel partner! Thanks!

Mighty Flex Speaker
Considering how small this speaker is, it truly does pack a big punch. Being able to comfortably bring a speaker with me on outings, especially one that can be clipped onto a backpack is game changer. The speaker quality is very clear, and handles deep bass sounds very well. You can easily adjust the EQ to your liking on the app which I found very pleasing. The sound progression is very clean, it doesn't jump too high as you increase audio either. My only issue with the speaker as of now is the connection for bluetooth can be a bit spotty, which can be fixed with an update to the speaker. Overall, this is a great product.

Great lightweight portable speaker
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is hands down the best lightweight portable speaker I have used. Provides great clear sound without a hint of that tinny sound you often experience with small speakers. I like that it comes with a little tab to attach a strap to but it is really easy to just carry this one in your hand. Compared to the Soundlink Max, this speaker does not provide the same amount of deep bass but is an excellent listening experience for its size. I tend to use my Soundlink Max at home and would reach for the Flex when outside due to its portability. Due to it having less bass, it's also a better option when using out in public in my opinion. Great little speaker!

Good, compact speaker
I have had this speaker a few months and it's fair to say that for the price and size, it's pretty good. It's very bassy if the EQ is turned on to extra bass. It gets up to about 75% volume without any distortion after that, it's too loud for a speaker that size. Battery life is pretty average, most speakers these days have 15 hours minimum, this is rated at 12. It does last 12 hours, instead of being a rough guide or completely inaccurate. Overall I'm really impressed. It was bought to replace an original Soundlink Revolve+

Bose Flexing it's brilliance!
I recently acquired the Bose SoundLink Flex 2nd generation, and as a seasoned collector of Bluetooth speakers, I can confidently assert that the SoundLink Flex is a remarkable device. Its audio output is exceptional for its compact size, surpassing many competitors in terms of sound quality. Based on my comprehensive evaluation, I highly recommend the SoundLink Flex 2nd generation. Bose has once again demonstrated their expertise in audio engineering. 5 out of 5 stars.

Great sound yet lacking new age software updates!
I love the excellent sound and the audio quality and yet i'm disheartened by the fact that it cannot be turned via bluetooth history and needs the power button to be pressed every single time, syncing with other bose devices has been a nightmare as the bose software cannot recognise its own company devices and the manual mode to connect isn't very well thought off. Niche products with niche price tags should also come with niche technology! Ah yes, this speaker doesn't have an assistant support! 2025 and i'm confused besides the sound quality what am i paying for??
