Rated 5 out of 5 by from SoundLink Micro 2nd Gen Refined Boosted & Enhanced I received my SoundLink Micro 2nd Gen speaker about a month ago and let me start off by saying it has been revamped and exponentially enhanced when compared to its predecessor. The most notable physical design improvement would have to be the ruggedized and replaceable strap that allow the speaker to be placed just about anywhere from bike handlebars to the shower. The sound quality and customization capabilities are light years beyond the original. Lastly, the enhanced connectivity and battery life make this the premier portable and budget friendly speaker that is ready for just about anything. I highly recommend this speaker!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent sounding speaker This little speaker packs a good punch. the old misconceptions of "No highs, no lows" or "Buy Other Sound Equipment" do not apply! It's remarkable how much detail comes out of this little speaker. The only improvement I wish for are double and triple-pressing the action button. This could do things such as enable USB audio into the speaker, while allowing it to link to another unit for wireless stereo sound. This would really make me happy, and is only a software update away! Also, the lack of number processing in the voice is another strange thing, although not a deal breaker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Speaker Around the House and On the Go! This mini bluetooth speaker is GREAT for me around my apartment and on the go. My bathroom is far from my living room but this speaker makes listening to music in the shower and getting dressed super easy and convenient. The sound is incredible, and the bass is nicely calibrated, just like all other Bose products. I also took it on a short bike ride and it was like my own personal concert with me. I love it!

It is a small speaker but feels substantial - doesn't feel cheap or fragile. I actually dropped it on the pavement when I was using it outside at a tailgate and it didn't seem to phase it - not a scratch on it. The sound is high quality and it can get pretty loud with the volume turned up! It's easy to attach to chairs or can just lay on a flat surface. Overall I'm really happy - Bose didn't disappoint - another great product.
