Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great speaker [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Boombox 3 is an amazing speaker the sound is great with goid bass and its very loud .To get the best results from.this speaker you need to download the JBL one app.to control the bass and other settings on the speaker. I love that it has wifi and i can connect it to my google home speakers and have the same music playing on multiple speakers also i like that when connected to wifi when i get a call on my phone the music doesn't stop like it does when connected to Bluetooth. I wish that all of JBL speakers had the wifi connection..The speaker is sort of heavy, it should of came with a carrying strap.I do think this is a great speaker and it is worth the investment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality sound and bass Quality and sturdy device. Bit heavy, but was expecting that so not a problem for me. Look fashionable and goes well in my living room. Music quality itself is amazing as expected from JBL. Nice bass, clear music quality. Easy to set up and connect to Wi-Fi. I downloaded the app and that was a bit of disappointment. It is soooo slow and do not have patience for it. But once it does connects and starts playing music is all good. Also is a bit disappointing that there's no Spotify on the app. From all the music providers this should be the first one(in my opinion). Overall it is good sturdy device with amazing quality of sounds and bass.

I've linked it up to the Alexa, so I can enjoy my playlists all around the house and garden. It was super easy to link and was done in under a minute. The quality of sound is A1 and I was pleasantly surprised by the deepness of the bass, the clarity of the sound and the volume, this speaker packs a punch. I'm really looking forward to throwing my first bbq of the season, being serenaded by my JBL Boombox. Get one you won't regret it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first instinct with any portable speaker is to dismiss any hopes of an "open" sound with any degree of clarity or separation. With the JBL Boombox 3 Wifi, I was proven wrong. A little larger then most portable speakers and also has a hefty, quality feel to it. The bass ports mainly project from each end of the box which gives your music good " bottom" but without sacrificing clarity or the high end spectrum. Truly a must have product for those who need portability but demand high quality of sound.

Apart from the fact that it looks so good, is easy to store and carry with me, it provides the best sound a speaker its size could. I have used it both indoor and outdoor and it provides the same quality of sound, making everyone live the music thanks to its bass vibrations. The fact that it can be used in combination with Alexa is also a big plus for me as it helps me a lot when I want to cook something and I’m not able to touch the speaker because of the dirty hands and, when we threw a party for my daughter, it came really handy to have Alexa connected to it and one more speaker so that everyone around could hear the same music at the same time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Straightforward portable excellent sound speaker Deep and loud sound if you go for it A bit of hassle to connect to home wifi, but no problems at all with Bluetooth connection. It is moved around the house and often my partner likes to take it to the summer house at the back garden. Not the lightest item to carry I must say. Luckily no matter how loud it goes, the sound is pleasant and doesn't annoy the neighbours. Charging takes around 6hours and lasts at least 24hr non stop play. Waterproof feature is excellent for that outdoor use and I do recommend to install an app for even smoother experience. Overall pleased with a quality and awesome performance

Can I pair Boombox 3 WiFi with Xtreme 3 through Patyboost?

Thank you for your question. While our JBL Boombox 3 Wi-Fi doesn't have a Partyboost feature, you can add it to a speaker group with multiple speakers within the same Wi-Fi connection in the Google Home App and play audio simultaneously, similar to the Partyboost feature.

Can the Boom Box 3 WiFi be paired with two charge 5 WiFi speakers ? What is the device limit for group pairing via the google app?

Thanks for your question. Our JBL Boombox 3 Wi-Fi and JBL Charge 5 Wi-Fi speakers don't have a connect feature to pair with each other. However, these speakers can be added to the same speaker group within the same Wi-Fi connection via the Google Home App. The limit depends on your router if it has a set limitation on how many devices can be connected to the same Wi-Fi network. This means that your Wi-Fi network can handle the number of connected devices regardless of whether it's a JBL speaker, a phone/tablet, etc.
