Can I replace the battery on this unit when it wears out? And while we're at it, the JBL PartyBox OnTheGo Essential -which Im also considering- can that take a replacement battery? Thank you!

Thanks for your question. They have a built-in rechargeable battery that isn’t designed to be replaced by users. If a battery wears out, the safest option is to contact an authorised JBL service centre who have the right parts and tools to replace without damaging the speaker or voiding the warranty. ^CO

Just bought the new JBL partybox encore 2 that includes 2 wireless mics. Will this unit support another 2 JBL wireless mics connected thru the dual channel receiver plugged in thru microphone input at the back of the unit? So, total of 4 wireless mics.

Thanks for your question. Our JBL Partybox Encore 2 does not support an external microphone, as the available plug on the back of the unit is designated for instruments only.

Thank you for your inquiry. The JBL Partybox Encore 2 does not have a microphone input, so it is not compatible with the JBL Wireless Microphone. We recommend the JBL Partybox Encore Essential 2 instead, as it features a microphone input that supports the JBL Wireless Microphone Set that would provide the proper gain setting to get good playback.
