Awesome portable party speaker
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first took the speaker I was amazed with the build quality. It is a perfect size for taking to the beach, camping or backyard. I downloaded the app first. Bluetooth connection was simple and fast thanks to a large button on top. The app gives you control over the lights, sound and party effects. I kept the sound on signature JBL sound because it is my favorite. You can select from several presets or adjust the eq yourself. My kids had a lot of fun with the party effects. The sound was exactly what I expected from JBL. Clear highs and great bass. I played many different kinds of music thru it and they sounded amazing. I also hooked it up to our outside projector for movie night and wow did it sound great. I can’t recommend this product enough. I am very happy I got one.

Great for BBQs
I used this out on our patriot for a bbq. I like the fact it’s fairly lightweight and easy to carry around. The sound is brilliant for its weight and size and the JBL PartyBox app was easy to use and great for customising the lights and effects. I tried the connection of older or more modern JBL products partyplay. I like you guys are allowing to connect to your other JBL Speakers. The water resistance was tested asI left it outside and it rained over night. I just dried it and it was good to go no problems. The battery life is good for its size and weight I know I probably got 6 hours of playing with issues and plugged in its sounds are superb

Excellent Sound Quality
I am absolute blown away by the quality of this speaker.
It is so easy to set up. I initially used it in the house to play War of the Worlds and the sound was literally out of this world!
Today it was my grand daughter’s birthday party, so I took it along to the hall. They also gad a bouncy castle to play on which was very noisy, however, they were able to hear the music over this.
I also played lots of games involving music, so the speaker played a massive part in this.
Every adult at the party asked about it, they said they had never heard such good quality coming out of a speaker.
I would definitely recommend this speaker to anyone.

We already own the JBL PartyBox 310 and recently added the PartyBox Encore Essential 2 to our setup. We really love the Encore Essential 2 because it’s lightweight and very easy to move around making it our go-to speaker whenever we visit friends’ houses or want to enjoy music in different rooms. It offers a surprisingly clear and balanced sound. While the bass isn’t as powerful or deep as the PartyBox 310, it still performs well for its size. The built-in microphone input is also a great feature, making it perfect for karaoke. I also love that you can pair two units together, which has me considering buying another one.

Perfect outdoor entertainment
I took this JBL PartyBox Encore 2 to a couple of picnics and BBQs and honestly, it was just perfect. The sound is loud and clear, and it really fills up the space, even outside. It’s super easy to carry around and the battery lasted all day. What I love most is the mic that comes with it – it’s actually really good! We ended up doing karaoke and had such a laugh. Everyone joined in, and now it’s become a proper favourite at family get-togethers. The lights are a nice touch too, especially when it gets dark. It’s easy to connect and works without any fuss. Honestly, if you’re looking for a fun speaker to take out and about, I’d definitely recommend this one. Total 5 stars from me!

Excellent speaker
This JBL speaker is absolutely fantastic and great for garden parties.
You can download the app to your phone and this gives you control over the lights and sound effects.
The Bluetooth connection is excellent and always stays connected with no problems at all.
The sound quality is very good and even at high levels it’s very clear with no distortion or crackling at all.
We go camping quite a lot and take a projector with us and now I can connect this speaker up to the projector which makes it a much better cinema like experience.
Overall I would highly recommend this JBL speaker as I believe it offers great value for money.

Massive step up in bass and volume
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this on my large deck when I have friends round. I have smaller JBL's that I used to use and this is a massive step up in bass quality and overall loudness. As with my other JBL's its all controllable through their App, including the light show, which at night is amazing and still bright in the day. Theres even a strobe light, that's not only in time to the music but also comes on at the right parts of the song! I thought I would have to have it plugged in to mains most of the time, but so far the battery has outlasted any gathering I've had so that's really convenient. I think I might need to get another to complete the set for Stereo.

Perfect all rounder
Love this!
The sound quality is really great and the volume is loud!
We have really enjoyed learning the app, look and listening to the pre loads sounds and effects.
Changing the colours and styles of the lights is great fun when guests are around.
It holds it's charge really well and connects to Bluetooth really early just need to download the app.
It really is a party in a box.
Why only a four star.. at points the bass was a bit tinny, but this could just be the type of music that was being listened too.
Apart from that it's a great all round speaker perfect for a charge and go party or even just listening to at home dancing around the kitchen with the family or losing yourself in the music.
